I really needed a new cassette and derailleur to improve my bike's performance and I found myself in a situation where I needed it fast. Not only did BTD have the products I needed, but as usual they matched a competitor's advertised price and as a bonus, delivered the parts AHEAD of the promised schedule! These are reasons why I'm a repeat customer!

Product Return communication and fees
I needed to return a product and noticed that the return description in the phone tree says return shipping on normal items is $7.95 but when I spoke to an actual customer service person, I was told it is $9.95. That amount on top of a $3-something restocking fee. Please consider lowering your return fees as $12+ costs on a $60 dollar order feels unfair. This was exacerbated by the inconsistency of the phone tree and the customer service rep telling me different amounts.

Longtime customer, few complaints to be had
I’ve been shopping with BTD for many years now. Often times their shipping times are equal to or better than other shops despite them being in Oregon and I’m in SC. They price match and most are instant so it applies right away. Only gripe so far is I was looking to buy a bike from them and questioned them about parts and whatnot that were or weren’t included. I was very clear and specific and was told they were included. Pulled the trigger, bike arrived, and parts weren’t included. They have yet to help me get said parts despite some back and forth e-mails. Overall my experiences have been rather positive with them and I’ll continue to order from them for the foreseeable future.
