My wife and I didn't do a lot of comparison between the various E-Bikes on the market, we shopped locally with a dealer who has been dealing Gazelle bicycles for years and with his knowledge and confidence in the Gazelle product line. It took no time to convince us that the Gazelle bicycles were a great fit for us. Within 3 months from purchase to parking the bikes for the season, we each put on more than 750 miles. These were the right bike for us, and we like passing on our satisfaction with others in terms of product endorsement.

I got my Gazelle late last November and, living in Maine, the weather has not made it possible to ride any bike. 🙂 The first 2 short rides were great and I look forward to the weather getting warmer (in the 40’s 👍🏻) and taking my Gazelle out often. 🙂
This is a comfortable and powerful ebike and overall I am happy with it. Unfortunately, I've had several problems with it that has caused me to take it back to the dealer. First off, I don't think the bike was assembled well nor was it prepared for delivery when I took possession. There was glue residue on the fenders and the forks from wrapping during shipment that was not removed prior to delivery. Additionally, the derailleur was not set up correctly causing the chain to slap. No one really explained all the features of the bike at delivery. On two separate occasions the bike would either not turn on or would turn on then turn off almost immediately. Once this happened when I was 15 miles from home. The service tech found issues with the battery and a plug missing from the bottom of the motor. The central issue was a communication error. Hopefully, they have it fixed. I've had two other ebikes (Trek and Cannondale) that I rode over 3,000 miles each and never had a single issue. While the Gazelle is the more powerful and comfortable of the three e-bikes I've owned, it has been the least reliable. If had it to do over again, I would likely revisit Trek for a comparably outfitted e-bike.
I am a 75 year-old recreational/fitness rider. After owning three Treks, a Giant and a Specialized over several years, my dealer steered me towards a Gazelle T10+ and I was immediately impressed. The difference in quality, balance, ride and handling characteristics were immediate and the attention to fit and finish is excellent. And the best news... my new T10+ is an absolute beast on those hills that, until now, used to ruin my ride and leave me exhausted. I can now stay out longer, ride further and enjoy the experience.

Reflections After Three Weeks with The Eclipse
I've owned my Gazelle Eclipse now for a little over three weeks and so far, I absolutely love it. I have already put 230 miles on the bike in that time. I'm a 69 year old, lifelong daily cyclist who has experienced knee problems and had not ridden for the better part of a year, so I thought it might be time for an eBike. The Eclipse has got me back on the road in a big way and I'm getting plenty of exercise too! I might also add that I own several very well made non electric Dutch bikes and the Gazelle Eclipse is by far a superior machine in every regard. I wish I would have invested in a Gazelle sooner.

I bought my bike for my 60th birthday
I bought my bike for my 60th birthday. It’s been nothing but joy to me since I purchased it. The range is wonderful. And it has allowed me to go places or I would not be able to go. If I have one complaint it’s that the bike is a little heavy other than that I would highly recommended for the price and the value.

Well built bike. Closest one I could find to a sturdy, reliable European “market bike.”

Love the bike
Love the bike. Turning the light on/off is not a simple thing so I leave it on all the time. Better design would be great.

Gazelle ultimate T10 - The Ultimate Ride
I've recently purchased a Gazelle Ultimate T10 and would like to offer some comments. First, I want to say that this bike is without a doubt the best bike (electric or manual) I've ever owned. The quality of the build is exceptional and the design and balance are superb. I test rode two Treks and a Giant prior to the Gazelle and none of them matched Gazelle's feel and quality. After riding approximately 500 miles, I have two comments I'd like to make for your consideration in later builds. They are: A redesign of both the rubber charging cover and the chain guard. I would suggest making the charging cover out of a hard plastic with a spring closing hinge and soft rubber seal. The current flexible, soft rubber cover does not provide adequate protection from moisture and the small rubber post insert design to keep it closed is fussy and hard to secure. Regarding the chain guard, I’ve removed it several times to service the chain and it's apparent that the plastic retention clips are insufficient and will not stand up to repeated removal and replacement. Additionally, the chain guard itself would be of better quality if it were made of the same material as the fenders. Thanks for listening.

love my cute Medeo T9!
I bought a Medeo T9 from my LBS and it is a joy. I gave up biking due to spinal issues and after traveling in Europe and seeing so many e bikes, I had to get on board. I tried several brands and styles and couldn't be happier with my Gazelle. The T9 feels zippy, light, and all-around fun. It makes me happy to run errands and is the cutest bike ever!

I joined the e-bike family reluctantly…
I joined the e-bike family reluctantly but at 81, decided it was time. I bought a slightly used 2021 Gazelle C8 step through model in early July and four months and 3000 kms down the road, I wish that my "time" had come a lot earlier. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Hilly terrain and/or windy conditions which had more and more been giving me an excuse to take the day off are no longer an issue.
As to the bike itself, I cannot compare it with other products since this is my only e-bike experience but I can say without reservation that it has no faults. I'm about a 40 to 50 km trip driver and my battery consistently predicts around 125 km before a charge is required so no issue there. The seat is more comfortable than the one in my living room. Mechanically, it's like that energizer bunny - no issues. The electronics are quiet. The shifting is smooth, easy and responsive and you can sweat or not - your choice.
Something I think to do with age was causing me trouble lifting my leg over the bar of my touring bike, so the step through style is a welcome feature and also the more upright position is an improvement.
I could go on but you get the idea. I am biking more and enjoying it more. What else is there?
