Freedom From a Religious Spirit

Minister Nydia Martinez- Kennedy, a SEW minister AND a licensed professional counselor in the state of NY, was delivered from three demons.  Nydia had no recollections of her 3 deliverance sessions.. Nydia, didn’t remember anything of how demons lifted her up out of her wheelchair to use her body  to  lash out against Pam. Pam was her Pastor at the time. Nydia was being groomed for ministry. This part of Nydia and Pam’s testimony  zero’s in on the finer points of the three deliverance sessions. This conversation took shape on Facebook, soon after Nydia reunited with Pam after several years.

 HOW PAM’S EYES WERE OPENED TO COIN THE TERM “COUNTERFEIT BIRTHS.

NYDIA: Pam, I love you so much for doing your part for my salvation.

PAM: I love you too Nydia, but it was my love for God that led me. Nydia, when you came to us at Healing Waters (church Pam closed), and told us  the dream of having three snakes within you, we were shocked but we obeyed . In your dream, the Lord told you to come to me and ask me to cast those demons from you.  We had three sessions. In the first session, the demons manifested and you threw up. In the second session, the demons became outraged, and picked up your infirmed body out of your wheelchair. The demons were cursing, and blaspheming. He was headed for me, and two big women had to take down, your little 110 pounds or so.

Nydia: I didn’t receive salvation at that time Pam…

Pam: As you walked from the back of the church, a crowd gathered outside that big glass window from the cab stand and the Pakistani restaurant. The crowd watched you walk towards me. I was too shocked to be scared, but fear DID set in. You picked up a bible, and almost hit my assistant in the head with it. She jumped up, and said ” IT’S ON “.

The witnesses thought you had walked under the power of God, because they could not hear what was being said inside. After that day, Pakistanis would run up to me in the street to stop me for prayer. They would put money in my hands and run. Sometimes it was $100. I gave the money to the church. They called me ” the woman of God “. To them, I was the woman of God who bought the crippled woman out of her wheelchair. But…I knew better!

Nydia: Ha! Ha! Ha! Pam, but you still loved , and worked with me. Even after being attacked.

Pam: As you lay on the church floor, AFTER you were taken down, the demon claimed his rights. He wailed through your mouth, and said ” HER GRANDMOTHER GAVE HER TO ME”

Nydia: Preachers of today would have run to abuse me physically. This did happen to me in the past.

Pam: I always loved you Nydia, you were like a second daughter. I was determined. If YOU were going down, I was going down with you.

Nydia: Pam, all I can say is—but God! But God had another plan. He truly saved me. All captives who want freedom shall rejoice. The Lord will set them free.

Pam: It was the third session that the demon was cast out. It wasn’t even a session, but a Bible study. We were all sitting at the table, and so were you. At the study, you revealed that you did not understand the resurrection, and you said ” Pastor, God is going to have to show, and prove himself to me or I will not believe “. I said Nydia, say ” Jesus was raised from the dead “. You literally could not say it. You picked up a piece of paper, and wrote ” I can not speak, my throat is blocked “. That is when I jumped up from the table, and commanded the demon to come out. When it did, you could speak. Your first words were ” Jesus was raised from the dead “. No, you were not saved until later on, but the demon that was blocking your salvation…LEFT.

Pam: Nydia  and all who read this testimony.  In a lot of ways, Nydia’s testimony  is also MY testimony for one main reason.  This was a groundbreaking deliverance that opened my eyes to truth in ways that I could not have imagined.  For I did not know that someone could preach, speak in tongues and prophesy, yet NOT be saved! Nydia was the first.   However, from 2002-the present, I have been in touch with hundreds in the last 9 years, so much so, that I coined the word “counterfeit births” in the book “Faces of the Religious Demon.”

All names were changed in the book for reasons of confidentiality. Nydia’s name was changed to “Ola.”

Pam  I venture to say that there are millions who believe that they are saved and who are NOT.  This is the work of the religious spirit. First, the Lord drew Nydia to me, then He revealed to her that she had demons, and then He  used me to set her free. This  is a testimony to God’s love, grace, mercy, wisdom  and power

Although Minister Nydia was released from tormenting demons in 2002, the Lord did not save her until 2007, 5 years after the deliverance. Pam and Nydia  lost contact in 2005.  Here is what happened after Pam cast out 3 strongmen and Nydia re-located and married the man the enemy used to draw her away from Pam’s church.

 NYDIA’S  NARROW  ROAD TO THE CROSS

Nydia…the next part of my testimony truly amazes me. God had to drive me out of the church. He did this by allowing the pastor I had after leaving Pam’s church to give me the craziest counsel. This man counseled me to stay with my ex-husband who was a crack addict, and in a relationship. We were both abusive to each other. This pastor said my submission to my crack addicted husband  would cause God to change, and heal my husband. What a lie from the devil that kept me in the relationship for three years.

Anyway, this pastor also told me that God hates divorce. One day, while I was beating myself up about wanting to leave, the Lord reminded me that he hates all sin, yet he forgives people. God forgives people if they seek forgiveness. What released me to finally use my common sense, was when I almost threw a bottle of hot oil on my ex-husband. Immediately,  I realized that I had to leave him, or else I would end up in jail. In addition, the rage I was experiencing caused me to cut tires, cut up clothing, break windows, and cut up the bed while my ex-husband was still  in it.

I finally broke up with my ex-husband. My violent reactions to him, showed me just how UN-CHRISTIAN I truly was. I also understood that pastors can be wrong and full of human error. THE SECOND EXPERIENCE that ushered me closer to my salvation  was a deliverance that  the pastor of a Word of Faith church attempted to conduct. Because I am permanently in a wheel chair, this pastor tried to cast out a spirit of infirmity. He yanked me out of my chair. He hit my legs, and began to scream at me. The next thing I knew, I had three men yelling, and screaming at me. I was vomiting and crying hysterically.

They  ignorantly thought the  vomiting  was a manifestation of deliverance. It was NOT! I was scared, and  so I blanked out in sheer terror. My friend told me that they thought I was walking by a miracle. These pastors thought I was walking by a miracle. They did not realize that my cerebral palsy allowed me to walk a little  at various sometimes.

I awoke, completely covered in bruises, and totally frightened. This experience taught me that not every word is from God. Also I learned that God does not have to physically wrestle with a demon or person. I also learned, that just because someone calls the name of Jesus, it doesn’t mean that they are saved.

My salvation experience occurred soon after.. The Lord saved me 4 years ago,  around October or November of 2007. I was in my kitchen making bottles for my babies. I cried out in desperation from the many circumstances that had broken me. I said ” Lord, I need you, but I am not going back to church”. The Lord responded, and said ” I am not there”.

I WAS SHOCKED! The Lord continued to speak to me, and said “ the Jesus of the Bible, and the Jesus of the church, are NOT the same. In fact, two of  Pam Sheppard’s six books expounds on this. ” The Fake Jesus “ and the New Idolatry.

Anyway, I myself, knew nothing about this fake Jesus that Pam has studied and  written about.

God proceeded over the next three days  to show me how much of a religious hypocrite I was. God revealed that  I only did things to receive from Him, from people, and for my own gain. He  also showed me how  much He loved me, and made a way for me on the cross. He told me that Jesus was alive and victorious. I also realized that none of my religious duties pleased God, or made one bit of difference. I was totally set  free from a form of godliness that denied the power thereof!

I stopped all religious activity immediately.

Then the truths Pam had  taught me for three years as my pastor became real. The Holy Ghost added to Pam’s truths over the next five years. Pam is the only one who knows both the old Nydia, and the new Nydia. God really used our reconciliation to confirm and encourage me. Pam knew I was born again, and saw the difference immediately. Over the last 6 months,  Pam has  added to what the Holy Ghost had taught me. I still have much to learn, but I am no longer that ” Drama Queen ” of the past. I no longer need constant human contact or stimulation. I am free,at last in Christ.!!!

I hope my story not only encouraged you, but helped you to realize that even though it may not happen immediately after you are delivered from demons and  a false conversion, once the demons have been cast out, God WILL save you!!!.
