I can't use my rewards as I would like as before.

Western union changed their reward policy so that they give free rewards, new policy, but you can't use them to discounting the transer fees as before. This is very diappointing. Just another company like airlines rewards just make clients feel good but can not be used. shamfull. Wadood

Poonam gave us fantastic service when we went to break our pound into Indian rupees. She also gave us a list of sites we should see and direction too!!! Now that is service with a smile.

etail so I know a fake and sincere smile. Poonam is the face of customer service. It's if everyone was like her all businesses would be thriving.

I’ve been travelling throughout Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia now for the past 15 years, and without a doubt the best WU service I’ve ever received anywhere has been at the WU in Praia da Rocha, Portugal on Tomás Cabreira Avenue. This is all thanks to the great service from Pedro. I wish all WU outlets had employees like this young man!

Lack of communication or resolution to simple cancelled wire transfer

I sent a wire transfer to a family member back in March 30th which I had to cancel due to technical issues with Western Union at the receiver's end.
Here we are April 21st and today during my 6th follow up, my call ended up being dropped (or I was hung up on).
In the years I've been working with Western Union have I seen such terrible service and lack of communication.
I guess Western Union is becoming the run of the mill scammer?

Western Union has NOT a solid app.

The app worked OK for a while.
Then I violated a EUR 1000 max rule without knowing.
There was no warning, all that happened was that my pasport was requested, which I did and to my joy the app extracted the wanted data on its own.
But after that my order was "in prosessing" forever.

Called a call center who removed the "in processing" blockade. Very friendly guy but.

Then a new blockade came up, the app was forever "checking my Identity" ( remember I had my passport scanned).
A new call with the call center. Also very friendly. Something was removed. But the "checking your identity" blockade remaind.

I conclude you cannot rely on this app.

Do Not Use, Other Apps Better

they will tell you the transfer will be sent in a minutes after they deduct the monly they will put the transfer on hold that´s what happened with me and still reviweing it! i asked to cancel and no answer!!!! never again westernunion

Just started using Western Union and it…

Just started using Western Union and it is slow. It takes a few days for money to transfer and is much slower than PayPal and other services. I would say it’s the slowest service of them all. I don’t see myself using this much anymore. Beware if you are sending money international that they are slower than all other services.

instant txfr didnt happen till 4 days…

instant txfr didnt happen till 4 days later to tell me they couldnt do the transfer, with no explanation... and have to wait for refund for upto 7 days... WTF ??

The first transfer is NOTHING to do…

The first transfer is NOTHING to do with subsequent transfers. They mislead you into thinking you're getting a competitive rate the first time, but if you use them for future transactions, they hike both the rate and add a fee. Really sneaky and disgusting business practices.

Shifting to unreliable money transfer platform

Transferred money from my Uk account to NRE ac in India, on 14/04 night and its 16/04 morning and still waiting. However your trackers says delivered since 14th night. It seems this has become a consistent problem to chase your money with WU. Clearly it’s becoming unreliable platform to send money. In order to improve on your service please do what you say you would do by making your system/ trackers reflecting correct information rather than exaggerated one.
Note: Customer service representatives were helpful with my situation, however my issue still exists.

Do Not Use, Other Apps Better

They raised their prices more than 400%. Do not use this service, find ANYTHING else to send money. Absolutely terrible. There are many other ways to send money. If you need to send for medical, health, or personal reasons, do not trust them to make it happen.

I sent money on 31st March from UK to…

I sent money on 31st March from UK to be deposited into back account in Sweden.
Money has still not been received.
It’s 2 weeks now and trying to get feedback on tracing the funds is like pulling teeth.
I will never use bank deposit option again.
It’s messed up the surprise I had planned for my sister’s 50th birthday.Nothing will compensate for that.

I have been calling customer care and they are all lying, they can’t account to the money l sent through them!!The money is was supposed to be for an emergency but l am still waiting, a month later, and not one of them seems to care about it! Use their services at your own risk!!!!⚠️
