It was this video clip that birthed the book “The Fake Jesus: Fallen Angels Among Us. I’m not sure, but I suspect the year was 2006. I had recently heard a voice say to me that the entire organized church was akin to a condemned, boarded up dwelling and that the Holy Ghost had vacated it. As a pastor for 25 years at the time, I wa truly s hoping that the message I had received was not from God. So I decided to take a year and do some research. As I was about to begin by studying church history, I watched this particular video.
At that point, I had never heard of Dr. Cindy Trimm so I watched the video without any preconceived perceptions of her ministry.
When the clip reached the 2 minute and 42 second point, my book “the Fake Jesus” was conceived, for it was at that exact moment that I heard Dr. Trimm “declare,” I THANK YOU FATHER THAT THE SPIRIT OF THE ASHTAR HAS FALLEN UPON THE PEOPLE as the people were falling slain in the spirit like ocean waves across the entire building where the congregation was assembled.
Astar? That sounded familiar. I first went to my bible and found Ashtoreth, an old testament idol. Once I googled the name “Astar,” Google corrected my spelling to ASHTAR. Beyond a doubt, I was in a state of shock. For the door to aliens, ascended masters, and fallen angels imitating our Lord flung wide open. All because of the 2:42 slide of this video. Now have gotten many contacts from people who claim Trimm said “Esther.” Even if Trimm said “Esther” and not “Ashtar” it does not matter. Why? Because , it was extremely important for me to find out about “Ashtar” and I have God to thank for causing me to hear it as I did.

I just want to say, I called Dr. Trimm’s Ministry and spoke with several people, asked them about this. She was not praying to any alien of false god, she said spirit of Esther, not ashtar. There are books about the Deborah’s anointing, and Esther’s anointing; she was praying the Esther’s anointing to fall upon the women. I have been in a service, where the Minister was praying for the congregation, and waved his hand, and whole sections fell under the Power of God. I watched the Cindy Trimm video in 2007. If you read the entire article as well as other comments and my responses to it, then you would realize that it does not matter what Dr. Trimm stated. THE LORD CAUSED ME TO HEAR “ASHTAR.” THAT WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME AND TO MY MINISTRY FOR THE LAST 11 YEARS!!! So this post is really not about Cindy Trimm personally nor her ministry. I never followed her before or since. What I WILL say to you is that the slain in the spirit phenomena is NOT the move of God and just leave it there. Not for you, but for my other believers who will read this comment. You see, I have moved in slain in the spirit myself. So I am certainly “familiar!!!”

Everyone has their own opinion. I am not here to argue or debate anyone; and I too have been in and is in a deliverance Ministry, that cast out demons, the sick is healed, and when the Pastor pray for them, some are slain in the Spirit – there are times when they fall out, the Pastor can tell also if it were of God. I responded with what I found out, since truth is what is important. I have followed Dr. Trimm since the early 90s, she has ministered at my churches in the past, so I know she is not calling up evil spirits. I am going by what I know, and believe until God tell me diferently. And I still say she did not say ashtar but Esther.

This is not debate or opinion. This is not about what Cindy Trimm actually said as it does not matter. This is about the FACT that fallen angels have infiltrated the entire institutional church, just as the Apostle Paul predicted to Timothy when he warned that some would depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
IT HAS HAPPENED IN OUR TIME, IN THIS VERY SEASON. I find this information very interesting… I have ” Rules of Engagement” by Cindy Trimm, and for the four years I’ve owned it, I have not been able to read it… I have not picked it up off the shelf since I bought it! And I’m the type of person that can read anywhere from 3, to 5 books at a time… Weird, I know…
I also listened to that prayer last week and heard Ashtar as well.. I’ve also listened to her atomic prayer on YouTube, and heard a few things that make you think, “did I just hear that?”… Very interesting indeed.. Thank you for your post.

Her supporters. claim that she had been preaching about Esther. Therefore she was calling for Esther’s spirit to fall upon the people. I too heard ASHTAR. Ashtar also “makes sense” as he is a fallen angel who probably has the power to cause people to fall slain in the spirit. I think you are pushing it talking about Ashtar. There is a great deal of fear and mistrust in many so-called Christians. They divide and tear up the body of Christ. Anyone who knows the story of Esther, can immediately relate to the powerful of this great biblical figure who saved her people from sure death and inaugurated the holiday which I believe is known ad “Purim”. While Cindy Trimm is introducing women , to powerful and holy role models, her attackers are introducing those who wish to follow them to distrust, fear and ignorance: Trust Cindy Trimm. She is a great servant of God. Open your life to the spirit of Esther. Many powerful Christian leaders refer to the spirit of Elijah – and why not. We need to know who historical holy figures are and there is nothing wrong with being inspired by the holiness that lead them to accomplish mighty and holy feat in the service of our God. Do not be afraid of the Angels – Psalm 91 says that God has given our care over to His Angels least we dash our feet against a stone. that means that God has put Angels in our service and that we are completely justified in counting on their protection since it has been promised by God himself:

I have to jump in this conversation as a born again, saved Christian believer in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour I have the Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth and so to does all born again Christians… I have recently started to do some research on Cindy Trimm and her ministry and I have noticed that she preaches or teaches a lot of unbiblical stuff.
In this video she does a lot of satanic hand signs, some people don’t know does sign but if you research satanic hand signs you will see the truth. I always wondered what the phrase that some ministries use “slain in the spirit” mean… Cindy Trimm used it here in
her sermon.
Well the word “slain” comes from the word “slay” which means to kill violently… Now that does not sound like a good thing, nor do I think the Holy Spirit of God would want to slain His own children.
We are living in the “last days” and we have to be careful not to fall for the devils lies or being deceived by his false ministries… For the devil himself can transform himself as an angel of light, mixing truth with error to deceive even the elect of Christ if he can.
We must know the Word of God in the Bible and by guided by the Holy Spirit to test the spirits or discern God’s Spirit from that of the devil and his demons.

Slain in the spirit means your flesh is crucified. And God will slay His children- He allowed His only Son to be crucified to show us how we must die to the things of this world. So that deep can cry to deep. Or so that you can decrease and the spirit of God can increase in you. The holy Spirit should make you sensitive to what is of God and what is not. I’ve not heard all of her messages but she hasn’t said anything here against the Word of God. If so provide scriptural evidence. Remain blessed and rber not to trivialize the holy things or the holy people of God

I thought one could be slain in the spirit of God I do not understand why this is not true about falling down. The anointing can be so heavy and you feel your knees buckle but I need to really research that. I have been slained at least on three occassions and do not really remember becasue Twice when I was a child and once as a young adult. But I felt peace.

Hi. Pam and Michael, I am relieved to hear I am not alone in my observations and discernment. I stumbled upon your site as I too became concerned after what I had witnessed on her video(s). Unfortunately, I just sent one of her books in ignorance (first-time purchase: The Rules of Engagement) as a gift to a loved one who is incarcerated. To my horror, i recently experienced the Holy Spirit reveal to me the origin of a curse (involving repeated incarceration based on false accusations and charges) this loved one has been under for several years now and I’ve identified the curse to be associated with the very spirit(s) this woman appears to be motivated by. I sought to send him a book on warfare hoping it could offer him assistance in prayer for self-deliverance, but now realize it appears i have aided the enemy in countering my efforts to help him get delivered. As a fellow believer, I’d very much appreciate your strong prayers. I’d like to be in agreement in asking the Lord for his help, protection, and most definitely deliverance for me and my loved one now more than ever for sure. I don’t have any believers to pray for/with me. Thank you.
(p.s. I recall a former Bishop of mine teaching us that when we see people fall during deliverance or any prayer service, we ought to beware for God does not cause people to fall as it leads to a person being harmed, therefore, we can be sure that when we see people fall as in her video that the spirit is NOT from God.)

This is not a word from God or a word from demons. It is a call to either God or a god to release angels to cause people to fall into an altered state “in waves.” When people like you refuse to face the truth, then you want to accuse those who put truth in your face as being gossipers . Then you turn around and say “God bless.” You want God to bless gossippers? What I hear in you is a spirit of religion.

Too add, this woman specifically stated for those folks not to touch anyone…why…because there were folks in that room who wanted the legitimate move of the Holy Spirit and if two side by side…touched and agreed…the flow of the demonic energy would have stopped right there…the congregations simple act of obedience to the command of the fallen angel literally opened them all to the manifestation seen at the end of this video…understand…as I can only speak for myself…I do not challenge you brotha thru a need to win an argument…but with a sense of sorrow and grieving as to how our people are literally being destroyed for the very lack of knowledge…much less discernment. In support of Ms. Sheppard…I also heard Ashtar…too add, and this was literally just pointed out to me by the Holy Spirit as I watched this YouTube clip, this vessel of Satan literally used demonic hand signs to include the eye of horus, the devil’s horns and the three 6’s right before the manifestation.
Listen to her words…I have found the enemy will literally use words and phrases that are ambiguous. As an example, one can say the following, “I see you have been afflicted with poverty, sexual immorality, death. Right now I call you to receive every thing laid up for you and your family the father has for you…”
In the midst of a service, as the one witnessed here…unless one truly has the Holy Spirit and second is consistently watching and praying they will not discern that a curse was actually pronounced over the congregations life.
See…”I have seen you afflicted”…can also literally be a present declaration literally saying I have seen [to it or called/prophesied demonically] that you are afflicted…

With the above stated..there is no doubt in my mind this woman is a vessel of the enemy.
Finally, the fruit of this kind of ‘day of pentecost’ move of the precious Holy Spirit always results in a major shift in the local environment for the purpose of literally witnessing to the city and nation the resurrection of OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR Jesus Christ…not financial success…and open portals. I don’t see any historical evidence or mention of the fruit of this manifestation…no…this was not the Holy Spirit of God, in witness of Jesus Christ, who Is come in the flesh at all.

In that sermon her message was about Esther and even more so, right after prayer she continued to speak and preach about her. Do you not think that there’s a more higher likely chance that THAT is what she said? Furthermore you stated that the message was about Ashtar, that may be true but the context was spoken in the case of Dr. Trimm hence the reason she was included in this blog entry. She commanding angels to send anointings is nothing “fishy” considering that the Bible calls them our “help ministers” and was further shown when Jesus showed his authorithy to summon at least 12 legions them to assist him IF he really desired. I’m not coming down on you or anything, it’s just that before you tarnish someone’s name and reputation, consider yourself and then seek to understand FULLY. Because sometimes all we see are bits and pieces of the puzzle and we make judgments based on that…and that is wrong.

I make no judgments. I report what I saw and heard. Even if her sermon preceding the prayer was about Esther, I heard “Ashtar.” They do not sound the same to me. Even if I did not hear Ashtar, watching Christians fall like waves in a crowd for no apparent reason, some of them bouncing on the floor looking like they had lost their minds was significant unto itself to raise my eyebrows. One thing is for sure. I needed to know about Ashtar and I have Cindy Trimm’s video clip to thank for that, so I am extremely grateful to her for posting it on the web. Blessings to you also.

True. I do not know Cindy Trimm. However, her accent and preaching style is very African American. I replayed her clip at least 100 times or more in my research. Some said they heard “Esther” and I certainly considered that. Yet Esther has nothing to do with angels. Cindy Trimm’s constant message is about angels. In fact, in this same clip, she called on angels to do her bidding. Ashtar is a fallen angel. I spread no propoganda about Cindy Trimm. My message is about Ashtar, regardless of what Dr. Trimm said. Let’s not get it twisted.
