Here is how Satan operates with the false fire of divine healing. Once you think of it, it is really not that clever but the reason why this particular tactic “works” is because we are so gullible in our fleshly desire to look for signs to prove to us that “God is real” when what we are called to do is “live by faith,” without needing a sign to believe in Him. As Jesus said, “a perverse generation seeks after a sign.” In conjunction with the ultimate ramifications of sin and death upon our un-glorified, natural bodies, Satan DOES use sickness and disease to promote his own agenda. God uses it as well for His own reasons. An important last days component of Satan’s agenda is to fool the elect. So what better way to fool us then with a divine healing hoax? All it takes is for the demon to “withdraw the symptoms of the sickness” from those whom he made sick in the first place!!! Believe me, the sickness itself “is not gone.” Only the symptoms are gone or in medical terms “put into remission” in order to fulfill an even higher agenda which is allowing a demon spirit “to imitate God.”
If you take a closer look at the 19th century, a different perspective on the mega preachers of today who focus on divine healing will come to light. For example,t could be that like Kathryn Kuhlman, some of them are NOT false prophets. The obvious pattern in each and every case is that ONE event served as the catalyst for a total shift in the minister’s direction and purpose. For Kathryn Kuhlman, born to Baptist and Methodist parents–her significant day occurred while preaching a traditional sermon when suddenly her message was interrupted by “spontaneous healings” throughout the congregation.
Perhaps one of the most perverse sermons that I have ever heard preached was called “Divine Release.” The sermon was uttered by Juanita Bynum about 5 years ago. It was absolutely horrendous. Yet, Juanita first came to public attention by the preaching of ONE noteworthy message called “No More Sheets.” Bynum’s message was more of an emotional, personal testimony about her struggles with fornication as a single Christian woman was not an actual sermon. Yet this one televised opportunity provided by TD Jakes changed the complete direction of Juanita’s life just as Jakes’ life was forever changed once TBN’s founder, Paul Crouch watched a homemade video featuring TD Jakes .
So is s Juanita Bynum a false prophet? To be honest, there is only one thing that we have the facts on. Bynum is the fruit that fell from the tree of Pentecostalism that goes back not just from her home church but from the church influences of the 19th century. Pentecostalism is an evil tree that was planted by sincere, yet sincerely wrong people and we ALL have been affected by it. Whether by vision, prophecy, a manifestation of a sign or a wonder, it is possible that sincere and gifted Christian leaders simply “took a wrong turn” a century ago that spread like a wild-fire, defiling all others who followed them.
Sincerity aside, some mega preachers took the wrong turn primarily because their narcissistic personalities were never broken by the cross. So it was natural for them to allow prominence, prosperity and power to develop huge ministerial systems that are built around their own self-love. In other cases, less than sincere prophets gather to fill their own pockets and serve their own perversion for domination, manipulation and control. The bottom line is that it is the Lord’s intent to undeceive sincere believers within the Laodicean church age. Consequently, we all have a great price to pay when we face the light of truth and discover that much of our work and effort has merely opened a door of opportunity to the fake Jesus.
As I have searched for answers and solutions, I am truly dumbfounded by the mercy, grace and longsuffering of our God. It literally amazes me to attempt to comprehend that for centuries, even going back to the rebellious children of Israel in the old testament, the Lord has tolerated mixed and false doctrines of all kinds for centuries on end. Yet, throughout the history of God’s people, He has —on occasion— used those who spread mixed and false doctrines to evangelize and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Think of it!!!! Just based upon the fact that the Lord has tolerated false fire for so long should suggest to us that “we are near the end.”
I am humbled by the fact that the enemy was trying to turn me into a false prophet but a way of escape was made for me. I had the entire package–divine healing, a charismatic personality, drive, zeal and ambition. People fell slain when I simply waved my hand at them, much like Benny does , I also had many dreams, some visions and occult healing powers.

Consequently, I don’t point any judgmental fingers at any mega preachers, among whom are deceived ministers who, like me, the enemy tricked into believing that their powers are divine.
The problem is that whether some of these folk are sincere or not, the outcome is the same. The sheep are damaged.

Paul prophesied that in the last days, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. i am still struggling for deliverance. my situation was brought about by benny hinn holy spirit, sorry, demons.

Well, From the moment I received the truth, I no longer struggle with it. OF course, I took action in that I don’t lay hands on ANYONE. I will pray for people to be healed, and I will add, Lord, if this your is will in this situation. ON a rare occasion, the evil spirit assigned to me will do something supernatural. I ignore it, give it no place in my life by discussing or marveling over it.
I still have power. But it is God’s power.

You know what…. i was EXACTLY the same way. That is 23 years ago. And it was benny hinn demons that had given me the powers.
I just hate that part of my past and healing has been so slow.

You just want to line your pocket you are another form of false prophet thinking that you can save me from a false prophet. Sorry I do not get any sense in what you are saying. You want me to get out of where I am and get into you. You are being used by the devil as well. How do I know that God is using you. You are judging and executing other preachers. You are like them. I will never need your help because the devil is using you to say what you are saying. May you be delivered so that you can see clearly.

No one in ministry can prove to anyone whether they are legit or not. You have to use your own discernment. This post was to help wih that.

Thanks for your humility. I no longer veiw TV preachers do to the above and wealth corrupts and dilutes the message. I wanted wealth too. Im out of Church for now after 5 splits ,all penticostal. One minestry in kirksville mo. menipulated our church in mankato mn.and forced out the pastor. Demanding respect by declareing “We are the authority”. It was hostile.

Very insightful. I am a prophet that has been reluctant to operate in my calling because i dont want to be manipulated by the ministry. I see it change and corrupt anointed people. I refuse to be that – a castaway.

i probally agree wit u n another thing if u want God to use you mightly humble yourself n dont share Gods Glory,in everything He do about you know that is God who did it not you. In that way you wil be pleasing God the father,Holy Spirit n Jesus Christ our lord n saviour. Godbless u in Jesus name

You dont want to enyer ministry because you think it will corrupt you?You say you are a prophet right?That is a ministry right?It is given by the Holy Spirit for the perfecting of the saints.By your statement if you think entering ministry will corrupt you then you are saying that the Spirit of God has set you up to make you fall.Because no genuine minister calls himself into a ministry.You had better start working with what He has given you were he has put you,else you are like that servant who went to hide his talent.Also the fact that your ministry might grow to become very large doesnt mean it has to corrupt you.The Major Prophets of old had great ministries yet they spoke the incorruptible seed of revelation the Holy Spirit gave them.No matter how big your ministry gets its still a MINI-stry,meaning its still a mini portion of the work that Christ has entrusted to the Church.Ministry doesnt corrupt,though your ministry may bring you wealth…you must always realise that seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness causes all other things to follow you.Jesus had the greatest ministry ever yet was not corrupted,he wasnt a broke guy and he was famous…He said “…the poor you will have with you always but not me” He is saying I aint broke.His name spread throughout all of the nation.The alabaster perfume poured at his feet according to calculations by biblical scholars would cost about $5000 today.
And when he was rejected at one place he simply went elsewhere.
Jesus walked the storm and he has given you the call to also walk on that storm of ministry,will you stay in your boat for fear of drowning in manipulation.Or you will start walking in your calling and believe that when you are sinking and call on him he will lift you up.

It has been two years since I wrote this post, and I have to read it again.
All I can say about your comment is that I cannot take seriously anyone who promotes the prosperity gospel.
whether I am a prophet or not, I know that I have heard from The Lord on this matter. The prosperity folk are coming down, one by one.
