You should watch what you say to others as God is seeing everything. if you steer people wrong you will be judged on this.
God knows you don’t know it all. Maybe you should watch what you say as it’s being seen by many.

Perhaps I did Greg but I don’t recall. No one has to be Jesus to recognize when a person is not born again. There are key things to look for. Was the person led by the Holy Spirit throughout the process. There are signs.
Unfortunately, you were offended. that was not my intention in any case, After all, Idon’t know you. So what would be my motive? I have none other than to undeceived folk. What you need to do is go to God and ask Him to expose the truth to you.

Tee, what do you think about Vineyard and Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship? I love contemporary and instrument worship music, but often the act of forgiveness and letting things go in those churches can be lost. I went through that in at least 3 churches, so I can attest to being a victim of this, intentional or not.

Well, I don’t know much about Toronto Airport Chrisitan Fellowship, but from what I’ve seen, it appears charismatic in nature. They are lusting after the supernatural, assuming that they are reaching God in doing so. Fallen angels and demons love to masquerade as angels of light in those types of settings because people will believe anything, allowing themselves to become passive, and hence surrendering their will, so that the enemy can manipulate their minds…when th Lord does not require us to give up our will to serve him and to worship him. In fact, many view worship as an act we do periodically to the Lord, but true worship to the Lord is a LIFESTYLE…not a bunch of religious acts. It is in how you live your life, keeping in step with his spirit, proclaiming his truth every single day. In my opinion, they are deceived, because they think that in order to reach God, one must become passive, become slain in the spirit, and engage in all these supernatural acts. As one who used to be in the occult, I can tell you with assurance that those things they are doing in those charismatic churches are the very same practices used in the occult. Unfortunately, many do not realize that it is demon worship, with the “Chrisitan” label attached to it. I too have always loved contemporary Christian worship music, but most of the songs are more about SELF and getting into a supernatural experiences vs being about The Gospel of Jesus Christ. I could go on and on about this, but much of what we are discussing is in many books that Pam has written. They go into great detail about the truth about movements like the Charistmatic movement, how it is connected to the occult, the false spirit that pretends to be Jesus Christ, and religious acts that people commonly perform that unknowingly lead them to demon worship. As one with experience about these truths, I can tell you with surety that what Pam is saying is very accurate…but most do not want to set their religious beliefs aside to even listen. Agree with you Tee, your comments on Toronto are spot on, I say that as someone how got pulled into that as something wonderful. Fortunately, I was able to step back and question things due to a totally unsuspecting source. I noticed that those who were “in the spirit,” hearing god speaking to them, getting revelation, being slain, speaking in tongues etc etc who used to create their own little group of friends. I made a conscious effort to talk and befriend those and was amazed by some of the help I received from them – and I thought I was doing them a favour! Wrong again lol. They spoke without being judgmental, condemnation but also pointing things out that were not consistent with scripture. I will never forget those people.

Thanks for that Tee, I have never really researched the Greeks for anything about tongues in those days, very enlightening.. I think for me the realization that what is being taught from the pulpit does not only not align with scripture but is in fact in contradiction was an eye opening moment for me. I look back on it now and I say to myself “how could I be so gullible to believe in that?” I came into this through the Catholic Charasmatic Renewal movement – I have never ever felt the urge or desire to speak in tongues but went along with it as that was expected! You know Tee, I have heard of this one lady from somewhere in latin america – sorry I do not have more details – but she was asked to go on stage once to interpret for an American evangelist. She barely had school level english.. she was very scared.. but when she got onto the stage she found that she could interpret perfectly! In fact she has done that with other languages that she has never studied. Now, I have not done any diligence on her, but if that is true, I think that perhaps that is closer to what scripture talks about. As you say Tee, spiritual discernment is so very very important in these days. But then one does not have to look very far to find multitudes of teachings that are false – something that I know that you and Pam are very much aware of.

The woman in LAtin America you referred to was obviously demonized. in fact, the Catholics themselves have interpreting foreign languages not studied as one of their top signs of possession.

This is EXACTLY the type of response I was expecting. LOL. Before you jump to conclusions about spiritual discernment not being used, please know that this comes from years and years of careful study of scripture, research, AND experiences with folks who are in constant demonic torment because of speaking mysterious languages (that are commonly referred to as ‘tongues’) from evil spirits. This is REAL and this is TRUE.

Also, the purpose of speaking in tongues (languages other than your own) was to have the Gospel preached to all nations, which occurred on the day of Pentecost and a short while thereafter. Once that was accomplished, there was no need for anyone to speak in tongues (other languages, NOT mysterious languages unknown to humans).
