We currently live in a society where “Everything goes.” Instead of relying on faith in God, people (professing Christians included) are seeking answers for their troubles, dealing with debilitating illnesses, and trying to deal with the daily struggles of life by subjecting themselves to practices that are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. On every tv program, radio station, website, job, the list goes on, “healing” is being promoted immensely. It is important to understand that in all things, one must be prudent and vigilant enough to do their homework on where these practices originated, and the dangerous effects it could have on your spiritual, emotional, and sometimes physical well-being. If you hear ANYONE out there encouraging you to engage in practices that involve opening the Chakras, you are hereby warned to RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!! Chakras are psychic gates that, once opened, can bring in torment from all kinds of evil spirits. The Lord does not need our Chakras open to communicate with us. Nor does He encourage us to engage in some ritualistic act in order to reach Him. As stated in Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places,” and as stated in 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because[a] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour,” we must always been on guard against evil spirits who stop at NOTHING to gain our allegiance.
There are several (seemingly harmless) practices that open the doors for evil spirits to enter into you and cause you demonic torment. Those are YOGA, MEDIATION, DRUGS, READING OCCULT BOOKS, VISITING A FORTUNE TELLER, RECEIVING HEALING THROUGH OCCULT POWERS, SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH A PROSTITUTE, RELIGIOUS ACTS (SPEAKING IN TONGUES, INTERCESSORY PRAYER, THE LAYING ON OF HANDS, BEING SLAIN IN THE SPIRIT, ETC.), AND ANY OTHER NEW AGE TYPES OF PRACTICES.
While the above listed may seem harmless, they are NOT. Just because you claim to be a Christian, yet still engage in this practices does not make you immune. And just because it is happening in CHURCH does not make it “ok.” Many churches are unknowingly engaging in these practices and just giving them different titles. It is all the same. WITCHCRAFT, NEW AGE, AND OCCULT PRACTICES ARE WIDELY OCCURRING IN MOST CHURCHES. THIS IS OF THE DEVIL. If you, or anyone you know is engaging in any practices that involve ways to “call on this spirit or that spirit,” or simply alternative ways to receive “healing,” YOU NEED TO STOP NOW. And anyone who claims to be a Christian, yet engages in these practices does not realize that by doing so they are NOT serving God, but are actually WORSHIPING THE DEVIL AND INVITING HIS DEMONS.

Why is intercessory prayer dangerous?

It depends. Most intercessors assume they know the Lord”s will about circumstances affecting the lives of those they are interceding for. What they do can border on witchcraft as the intercession focuses on what the intercessor has decided is the right thing for someone’s life.
Here is an example. A man is facing a huge sentence over a petty crime because of he is a persistent felon. So he is facing 16 years. The intercessor has a dream that she sees the prisoner released in 6 months. So she goes into heavy fasting and prayers for her dream to come to pass. The only witness to the crime dies before the system could get a written statement and the guy she interceded for is released just as she dreamt it, in 6 months.
Everyone rejoiced. However, once released, that very prisoner who had become so religious while in jail, went immediately back to crime and became a danger to others.
SOCIETy would have been safer if this criminal had done the time. Many have suffered because of his release.

about your speaking in tongues. please under what circumstances? the reason why paul insisted there be an interpretator is because of the people do not understand what is said.Sometimes in preacher when a man of God speaks in tongues ( normally for a very short moment) , it is because he cant use english to express himself but later if you listen closely it is interpreted. There is absolutely nothing wrong with in speaking in tongues . Interpretation of tongues is a gift which you yourselves can desire to have . I do now a number of who can interprete tongues .I find your blog to say quite a number of rather misleading things.
Although there are tongues that come from the devil one needs to have the spirit of discernment in these matters. Remember the Lord works in many mysterious ways which some may seem strange nonetheless. The devil is well capable to make a counterfeit of everything apart from holiness and righteousness. So before pointing fingers check their lives. I have heard a lot of juanita bynum messages and she tells the truth point blank

One thing I have learned is that one cannot assume that all supernatural experiences (in the church or not) come from God. And just because it seems like it’s good or appears bonafide does not necessarily make it so. You have to check everything, and try every spirit, according to TRUTH…not according to a religious interpretation you got from church. I have made the mistake of having many different types of supernatural experiences thinking they were from God, only to find out it was the enemy at work, trying to deceive me. I believe we are living in the age of Laodicea, the age of spiritual deception. Everything is not as it seems. True speaking in tongues is when the Holy Spirit poured into Peter and the other apostles on the day of Pentecost, and they immediately spoke in different intelligible languages that weren’t their own (For instance, Spanish, French, etc.) during that timeframe in order to preach the Gospel to those groups of people IN THEIR NATIVE LANGUAGE, so that they could hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The purpose of speaking in tongues (other people’s native languages) was for different nations to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If the intended audience cannot understand what you are saying, then you are not speaking in Biblical tongues. Furthermore, that occurred during a particular time period, and appears to have ceased. Anything else is not the same as that.

Is speaking in tongues forbidden today in the churches??? and when they speak in a unknown tongue, doesnt the scripture tells us that there should be an interpreter? and that they should speak two by two and one interpret??? but No One is interpreting what they are saying today in the churches. So Pastor Pam I agree with you this is nothing more than a subtle spirit of witchcraft, Lord help us, because when I pray in the spirit I have a tongue when I talk to God, just me and Him, and He will give me understanding in the spirit to what I have said to Him. But I am confused about these saints so called in the churches today, they are all speaking in tongues and nobody knows what they are saying, because know one is interpreting so to me they are out of order and confusing the new convert also.

I recently received an email concerning a healing service, which supports Tee’s post. I will paraphrase the statements which I believe clearly show some of the deceit and manipulation:
1. The healing service previously scheduled for 1/21/16 has been moved up to 1/14/16. God does not want to wait an additional week before touching His people. (I am not making this up)
2. The more the pastor prays, the more the spirit of healing is released.
3. We will be giving all participants a prayer cloth which has been prayed over and anointed. These cloths can be taken to people in need of healing so they can place them near their bodies and be healed.
4. God began to speak to me and He said that what we sow in 2016 will affect us for the next ten years.
These statements also demonstrate arrogance in that these leaders want people to believe that God will only act as they direct. This is a dangerous and false doctrine. Sent from my iPad
