Do you wish to be a god ?

20 Feb

In today’s society, we see a lot of competition and aspirations to be prettier, skinnier, stronger, healthier, wealthier, and not be like the average person.

Some people spend tons of money to get the closest to immortality and what they see as perfection. They want to be gods.

In religious rhetoric, all this is futile superficial worldly preoccupations. So what do they do ? They act like they are above all that by wearing voluntarily ugly clothes, not wearing makeup and demonizing people who do “”indulge”” in such behavior.

These people also want to be gods. By pretending to be above human superficial nature of loving to be approved, they really wish to ascend to God-like status. At least in the eyes of the church.

While it is pretty impossible and burdensome to crave this world’s perfection standards, it is as prideful to pretend to be above it. It is false guilt. Religious false guilt.

As a former catholic then adventist, I hid my body image issues and felt bad for caring about my looks. I threw away clothes that I liked, stopped caring about myself. I stopped being myself just to be “not like other humans”. Well, I am human.

Because our human nature is sinful and imperfect. We all have hidden desires, and if we are not born again it is just going to be ! And torturing yourself to approach what church tells you is God’s standards WITHOUT waiting for His Spirit to bring you to Jesus and change you in His Image by His timing is just impatient and as proud as men chasing immortality.

Do you have or had secret desires of being like a god out of impatience too ? Feel free to comment. If you want to be set free from any burden related to that, you can set up an appointment with Pastor Pam via phone ( 888-818-1117 ) or via email at psmontheweb@yahoo.com

Are You A Spiritual Addict?

5 Apr

Looking back, I believe I was a spiritual addict, coming off of one high and waiting for the next moment of ecstasy. Besides having frequent supernatural experiences, my addiction manifested most often in the area of intercession, where I went before God weeping and wailing, until my eyes were so swollen that I could barely see through them. I thought this was my greatest sacrifice. I looked so humble when I was in the midst of it, that even my church enemies were affected.

To overcome a spiritual addiction, one needs to accept truth. Were you spiritually addicted? What truths did you have to accept that broke it? In fact, are you STILL addicted?

I took note of a quote from a book I was reading online, I believe it comes from the book called “Toxic Faith.”

The practice of faith can provide tremendous relief from the pain and frustrations of life. When a person trusts in God, he or she no longer feels overwhelmed with problems or burdened from believing all problems must be resolved alone. This is a natural result of placing faith in a God who promises that his burden is light. But there is another kind of relief, an emotional frenzy that becomes an addiction and robs the individual of real faith. I was on a Christian talk show and afterward had the pleasure of going to lunch with the staff. They related stories of the variations of faith and the strange incidents that develop when faith becomes unbalanced.

When I once served as a pastor in the institutional church for  almost 25 years,  I witnessed and personally experienced  several instance  of toxic faith, way too many to either remember or describe.  Since I have been free from the church system since 2004, last year  I began to listen  to my old messages, going back  to a time when I was pastoring  a church I founded in 1996 called Healing Waters, with my daughter as assistant pastor.

What a duo we were! LOL.  To put it bluntly without any sugar-coating, WE WERE WILD!!! She would pray and then go off into that sing-song whooping that black preachers are known for. Behind her, as a backdrop, I was speaking in tongues. I could hear myself goin “”babababababa.” I have since learned that Baba, is one of Satan’s pet names his followers call him. These sermons and  messages are on my cell phone. As I  listened while on the treadmill in the gym or as I lifted wfted weights, I almost became  sick to my stomach.

God is so merciful and patient.

For 25 years, possibly more,  I received  supernatural experiences everyday or at least twice a week. Dreams mostly, but other things as well. Back in my church days,  I believe I lived more in the faith of my experiences than in God Himself. If I was not truly born again, I would have been very disappointed when all of this spiritual captivation ceased. after decades  of frequency.

Do I miss all of that supernatural excitement?

Good question.

Absolutely not.  Once I found that most of my former  mysticism came from the devil or one of his religious evil spirits, I WAS DONE!!!

The truth is that I really  embrace  the peace and my former of fear of dying. My quiet faith undergirds my knowledge that I am  kept by God and I am fine with it.  I have “entered into His rest” having gone through much struggle to get rid of the rollercoaster ride of ecstatic spiritual experiences.  In 2007 and again in 2008, God spoke to me in a quiet yet thoroughly  intense way.  He sent His thoughts to  my spirit, words received by my mind, and I answered Him back without opening my mouth.   I did not groan, moan, wail, leap, run, shout or any other fleshly outbursts.  I sat at my desk at home quiet and still  as we communed spirit to Spirit.

Over the last 10 years, I have received messages and teachings in dreams and in sudden, kind of pop-up revelations.  Out of those messages from the Holy Spirit, 6 books were birthed.  What I know today is that anyone who claims they hear from God daily and that they have seen Him frequently, face to face is either a liar or he or she has been duped by a religious fallen angel who serves Jesus Sananda Immanuel who serves Maitreya, who serves Satan himself.

So I no longer push God to speak to me in a big way.  I respect Him and so I wait on Him.

Its been a decade now.  Time flew by real fast.  So I am ready to hear from God in a big way again—soon!

Deliverance From Error: Avoiding Truthiness, FAke News and Alternative Facts

10 Mar

I have noticed that some churchgoers feel absolutely miserable when they become undeceived. Their self worth was bound up in their acts of religion. Self-hatred, shame and guilt are a part of the process as well. Serious remorse and sorrow—the grieving stage—is usually followed by intense anger and desire for revenge against those who deceived them.

I never experienced any of that.

As for me, I was a minister for more than 25 years within a well-known denomination when I got undeceived. I NEVER GOT ANGRY OR BLAMED ANYONE ELSE. I was actually angry BEFORE I got undeceived. That is because most of the time, I was rejected by church folk and other ministers. So once I got undeceived, I realized why people in the institutional church aka the  IC did not like me. And so it was very easy for me  to forgive them and move on. Also, I really never submitted myself to anyone. I took all the blame primarily  on myself. Therefore,  all those whom the enemy used to deceive me did not even get a second thought.

In fact, I was blissfully joyous. First came shock. Then understanding followed by extreme gratefulness.

What I was grateful for is that everything I was wrong on: tongues and other supernatural gifts, tithing, I RARELY PREACHED FROM THE PULPIT. I never insisted that everyone speak in tongues, or tithe. Did I create false conversions? Not many. On a rare occasion,  I declared people born again when they “accepted Christ.” I did not do much on “ask Him to come into your heart” though. While I was ministering at the altar, it just did not come to me to say.

The denomination I was in did not have many people to come forward to accept Christ. The pastors  asked the congregations to come forward to join the denomination and then they put them on a 6 months trial. So there were not many people falsely getting born again.

I REMAIN VERY GRATEFUL THAT MY MARGIN OF ERROR DID NOT REALLY HURT ANYONE.

Actually, I knew from the beginning in 1979 that something was seriously wrong with the church but I  thought it was my responsibility to be an instrument for IC change. Recently I heard that the special church I adored and desired to pastor for so many years is practically dead right now.  A close ministerial friend who was my rival over that church has now left it in failure and disgrace. Did I feel vindicated?  NO.  What  I felt was utter sadness.  You know them by their fruit.

One of the stages you should arrive at is being grateful that God saw fit to undeceived you. If you have had a false conversion, if He has un-deceived you, that means He intends to cause you to be born again and to deliver you. I am particularly in  awe that most of my life, I thought I was special. I WANTED TO BE KNOWN as the best this or that. The truth is that I did not know what it really means to be special really  until God Himself made me special beyond my expectation with the revelations He has given me. No, I had no idea what special really is. If there is a duplicate of me anywhere in the world, I would like to meet him or her.

God has made me so special that I prefer to hide than to make myself known to the world. All I want is for God”s elect to be undeceived.”

What really shocked me was to discover that the 3 dreams I had in 1979 that told me to go to that particular  church were from the devil. That was one of my biggest shocks. It caused me to wonder if God really called me to the ministry while in the church. Certainly, something supernatural DID happen. Was that God or the devil? Was all my work a waste? Did I really cast out demons from people or was it all a sham? Was The Holy Spirit helping me to preach or did my help come from a fallen angel?

Well, I have answers to those questions. One way I got an answer was to listen to messages I preached and taught before I was undeceived. I have not heard them all as there are many, but I have not found a mistake or an untruth yet in the ones I have heard thus far. Actually, I am being blessed and re-taught by my own messages.

For me, my past spiritual life is not a major concern. I put all those years behind me without much effort.

How about you? What has YOUR stages of undeception been like? Who Are The Tormenting Demons? By Pam Sheppard

10 Jul

In my book, “the Fake Jesus: Fallen Angels Among Us” you will find these words:

So through the telepathic communication through a channel,  Ashtar sent out a  defensive word of caution to his followers, and for all the gobblygook, here is a paraphrase of Ashtar’s claim:.

cover_the fake Jesus_new

For e-book click the book cover. For paperback, click the title link.

 Ashtar’s words paraphrased:

“Look you guys.  If any of you have been tormented, it was not from us.  There is a fake Ashtar Command that is imitating us.  Renegade demon cadets who were trained in the Ashtar command who did not measure up were expelled. Resentful and envious, they formed their own battalion, a duplicate of us but  operated by demons who are assigned to the lower planes closest to Earth . These renigades   have formed alliances with other rebellious demons who have sided against me.  This rebellious group tells its channels that it is me, –Ashtar– and they even imitate Sananda.”  (the Fake Jesus)

Ashtar

Ashtar is an ascended master in charge of spiritual warfare among the fallen angels. He serves under the command of the fake Jesus, known as Jesus Sananda Immanuel. Sananda is second in command to Maitreya.

Think of it!!! According to Ashtar, the so-called  imposter demons  of the Ashtar Command are  very dangerous.  They are fear based.  They threaten, chastise, promote paranoia, prophesy fearful scenarios of Earth’ devastation–real horrific, terrifying stuff.  They also incite racial and religious discrimination.  They will pressure those they are able to “channel with” to commit suicide, take drugs, become irresponsible by deserting their families, dropout of society or live an unbalanced life.  They also encourage people to give over their  money to charlatans and deceivers.  They cause their captives to give their personal and spiritual authority to another.”  They also cause mental illness.”

To RESCUE member who  I have trained in deliverance  coaching,  does this not sound like the symptoms and manifestations  of those who seek deliverance from us?

To my readers, I suggest to you “when all else fails, try RESCUE!”

Spirit and Soul In a Conversion by “Accepting Christ, by Pam Sheppard

16 Nov

What I am noticing in my work as a pastor and deliverance counselor  is that the enemy has noticeably  improved his tactics in mocking a true conversion with a false one, primarily because the soul helps out the religious spirit that is assigned to produce a false conversion.  So we need to be able to discern the difference between the soul and the spirit.

I remember when I got born again. I was sorrowing deep inside myself and my mind really did not know why. All of a sudden, I got a flash that was like a lightbulb turned on in my mind. I knew that I knew that I knew that Jesus was raised from the dead and I had no idea how or why I believed such a preposterous thing. It was preposterous to me because nothing that dies comes back to life, so how could I believe in a human being died and came back to life, since for 3 decades I did not even believe that Jesus existed!!! So faith in His resurrection was just “there.” In me. It was like faith was dropped into my spirit and my mind was activated. That faith on the resurrection has been stuck in me like an immoveable stone. It was seconds after I believed on the resurrection that my spirit was born again.

On the contrary, when the soul “accepts Jesus,” the spirit remains dead. Remarkably, with great subconscious acting skills, the soul can religiously imitate the things of God. The fallen spirit of man, alienated and separated from God is sunk down into the soul so that the soul manifests itself as intellect or sensuality, often in both. In such cases, the soul reigns over both the spirit and the body. The way that the new life reaches the spirit is shown in the Lord’s own words: You must be born again. The Holy Ghost “breathes” where ever He chooses.

Salvation is not the decision of man but the will of God.

Religion Takes Away Your Identity

2 Oct

jail

One thing I have really disliked about religion (well, there are many, but I will focus on this one! lol), is that being religious makes a person become something they are not. You all know what I am talking about. There is just this certain way people become when they turn religious…even in the way they speak. The religious practices and rules make us feel like we have to do certain things, and act a certain way to be accepted by God, be righteous, or “get into heaven.” It’s like a switch turns on for them to act a certain way when the subject of God or Jesus comes up. All of a sudden, they know all the righteous things to do and say. Interesting…

I do not miss the long, drawn out, religious prayers, that are nothing but FLUFF, leading people to believe that they have attained a certain righteousness with these deep prayers. I remember going to all-night prayers. I HATED them. Why? Because people would use all these religious terms, trying to sound all holy, instead of just talking to God (or who they thought was God) like they talk to a regular person. The constant, “Father Gods,” or the “Oh, Almighty God,” religious sayings after every sentence drove me CRAZY!!!! I am the type of person who just talks normal when I pray. I don’t see a point in saying all this religious stuff to try and impress God. I’m sure he will hear my prayers if I just talk to him, like a normal human being.

Then there’s the “acts of worship” people put on as they suddenly hear a religious song, or get in an atmosphere of falling into an altered state, thinking they are worshiping God. To me, worship is in EVERYTHING I do for God, it’s my life…not just some religious state I get in when I hear a religious song or something. When I was in the IC, I felt something was a bit odd how a certain song will come on, and people would suddenly CHANGE.

Then, there’s the constant referral to scripture for everything you say, as if quoting Bible verses makes you more spiritual than others, or closer to God. I used to be in discussions where I had to have a scripture to back up everything I was saying.

Let’s not forget the SERMONIZING..the religious, on cue rise and fall of a preacher’s voice, just to get a huge reaction from his/her audience.

While I was in the church, I hated the bondage. I suspected something was just not right with having to follow all these rules, and do certain works to transform myself into become this IMAGE of what a “christian” is supposed to be. I yearned to just be REAL. To be FREE. To be NORMAL. Religion took that away from me, and made me this person who would put on a form of Godliness in any situation related to church, God, Jesus, etc.

Today, I can happily say that I am FREE from all of that. I don’t need to say religious lingo to talk to God. I don’t need to act a different way, just because spiritual topics are being brought up in a conversation. I don’t have to suddenly go into this altered state of worship, to try to feel close to God. I don’t have to talk a certain way, citing Bible verses everywhere I go, trying to appear righteous. I’m just ME…Learning truth, living my truth, and being REAL. No fake religious mess. And you know what? God still accepted ME. Just the way I am. Finally, I do not have to live a life of being fake, engaging in religious works, just to feel that I am close to God. No more religious songs, no more religious facebook groups (of God knows WHO is really saved in there), no more pressure to go to church to “earn” or “maintain” my salvation, no more feeling like I have to sound a certain way in prayer, no more listening to pointless sermons, that have nothing to do with the truth, but rather a point the preacher wants to get across, no more saying “grace” before meals, as if something is wrong if I DON’T say grace. I know that GOD IS NOT IN ANY OF THAT. RELIGION IS MAN’S INVENTION OF WHAT THEY CONSIDER TO BE THE PATH TO GOD, INSPIRED BY THE DEVIL. IT IS COUNTERFEIT. IT IS NOT REAL. IT IS A FORM OF GODLINESS THAT DENIES THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST. I NO LONGER STRUGGLE WITH MY IDENTITY BECAUSE OF RELIGION. I KNOW WHO I AM, AND AM HAPPY I HAVE THE FREEDOM IN CHRIST TO BE ME, AND NOT SOMETHING RELIGION HAS CREATED ME TO BE.

IF YOU HAVE ANY RELIGION IN YOU, LET IT GO. YOU WON’T FIND GOD THAT WAY. JUST STOP BEING RELIGIOUS, AND START ANEW. GET OUTTA JAIL, AND BE FREE. Learn who God REALLY is, and maintain YOUR IDENTITY.

Has religion taken away YOUR identity and you need help putting your life back together? If so, we can help. Contact Rescue at 518-477-5759 or rescueonfb@icloud.com

LIGHTS, CAMERA….ACTION!!!!!!

7 Mar

Where did pulpits come from?

A pulpit is another word for a podium, a platform, a stage (Mirraim Webster Dictionary).

What do people do from a podium or stage?

They give speeches and performances.

Speeches and performances-putting on a facade-comes naturally (and supernaturally) with the use of the pulpit in the organized church.

Pulpits can be dated back to the 14th century in medieval churches.  They were created by priests in the temples who were trying to compete for the attention of followers of migrant preachers who preached outside-much like John the Baptist and Jesus Christ of Nazareth Himself-did…OUTSIDE of the temples.

The migrant preachers only had a small piece of wood that they stood on outside to preach the Kingdom of God.  They often could be heard by temple-goers while they were in service.  So the priests and heads of the church created the pulpit so that their voices could carry ‘over’ the preaching and teaching going on outside.  To keep the attention of the people.

It was a competitive thing between the insitutionalized  priests and the preachers and teachers of the Kingdom of God who proclaimed God’s word OUTSIDE of the four walls of the church.

Over time, the pulpits became more elaborate in design, seemingly as to draw attention to the speaker of the hour-and to divert attention AWAY from THE WORD, who is JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH.

Charles Tracy, author of ‘Medieval English Pulpits,’ calls pulpits ‘objects of parochial pride and authority.’

What a fitting definition!

Pulpits as we know them today have morphed into ’objects of parochial pride and authority‘ indeed, in stark contrast to what they started out as.  There is mention of the word ‘pulpit’ in the Word of God only once, and that is in Nehemiah 8:4, when Ezra the scribe read the Torah to the people, he taught the people.  Afterwards, they repented…

The Hebrew word used for pulpit here is ‘migdal,’ which means ‘an elevated stage or pulpit.

And the pulpit Nehemiah used was NOT inside of a temple; it was OUTSIDE.  Just read the entire 8th chapter and you will see this is so.

This would explain why the migrant preachers of the 14th century were preaching on ‘slabs of wood’ OUTSIDE of the synagogues and temples.

Hmmmm, isn’t that odd?

It seems to me the pulpit originated OUTSIDE of the four walls of the church!

The practice of having elaborate pulpit/podiums/platforms did not start until the 14th century, and that was only to compete with the preachers outside of the church preaching the Kingdom of God!

Why were they competing?

They were competing for the numbers.  The priests inside of the temples have always been into the numbers’ game.  They will do whatever they need to to keep people coming to their churches.  More people inside of the temples meant easier control of the masses.  It would be easier to try and hinder THE church-THE Ekklesia- that Jesus Christ of Nazareth died for by gathering them all in one place, then indoctrinating and infiltrating error into the masses.

And more people meant MORE money for the temples!

Is it any wonder the stuff we see going on ‘in the pulpit’ is so crazy today?

We like to call preachers in pulpits ‘hypocrites,’ but what else do we expect when we place someone on a platform or a stage?

A hypocrite is someone who puts on a show, behind a mask.

Isn’t the WHOLE purpose behind putting someone on a platform or a stage is to see them….PERFORM? Or be SOMEONE ELSE?

When you spend $500 to go see a Tyler Perry play, you don’t go to the Convention Center, find your seat, sit down, only to watch the stage, do  you?

When you go to your child’s school because lil Johnny is going to be the bumblebee in the spring play, you would be angry if you just sat there for 2 hours in the school auditorium-camcorder on standby-only to see an empty stage?

When you travel to a hair show in Hotlanta, sponsored by Dudley’s Products, wouldn’t you be tee’d off if you just sat there, never seeing any models come down the ramp?

Well, whenever we put someone on a pedestal, on a stage, behind a podium…and YES, even a pulpit, we must expect that they WILL perform!  And a performance is NEVER REAL!

STOP getting mad at finding out that preachers are actors, puppets on a string.  You placed them on the stage to perform, not to minister TRUTH to you.

A minister of truth is going to step DOWN from the pulpit and minister to you, RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!  They are NOT going to hide behind clergy collars, cassocks, long flowing robes and fancy pulpits that cost more than what you make in one year.

A minister of truth is going to TELL YOU THE TRUTH.  And they will do it wherever you happen to be.  You don’t have to dress up and go to a building to be set free.

Do YOU need that type of minister?  Do church buildings and all its rhetoric and hype intimidate you?  Do you tire of the hypocrisy of churchgoers and preachers, in particular?  Yet you see the need for ministry?

The team at Pam Sheppard Ministry (don’t be fooled by the word ministry….) are prepared to meet you right where you are, no matter where that may be.

Spiritual Fruit: The Evidence of Salvation

2 Feb

A primary way of recognizing spiritual fruit  among the people in your Christian world is to  get to know them by how they handle offenses and confrontation..

We know we are saved when we love the brethren!

The first fruit to look for is the fruit of love. The Apostle Paul wrote that we know each other in the Lord by how much a professing believer loves the brethren. Love is most demonstrated by truth and not by meaningless platitudes or words of comfort by people pleasing people. Jesus defined love as our faithfulness to keep His commandments. When we do, then we abide in His love. And his first commandment is to love the brethren.

In order to love the brethren, trying the spirits is a means of recognizing a child of God when you see one. This is a particularly challenging command in the church age of Laodicea— an age of rampant spiritual deception where the wheat and the tares are not only growing together in the world but also in the organized church and in various ministries. Counterfeit spiritual births have really muddied the waters where spiritual discernment of the truly saved is concerned.

There is an effective way to try the spirits to determine if a person is NOT saved. Simply ask them in casual conversation to share with you how they became born again. If there is no emphasis or even mention of sin, godly sorrow, repentance, the cleansing power of the cross, forgiveness, then the person simply had an ecstatic, mystical experience that did not emanate from the Holy Ghost’s ministry of conviction of sin. Do not be fooled if you are told about a miracle that took place if the evidence of repentance is not in the testimony of conversion. Recently I heard the testimony of someone who was instantly healed of a substance abuse addiction, with not even a desire for drugs in years, yet addiction is manifested in other areas of her life, ie. to food, gambling, and other obsessive/compulsive behaviors. In a few days, the lack of love for the brethren was clearly apparent.

Besides a Spirit-led repentance, there are other obvious ones who when you ask them to define what they mean when they say “Jesus was raised from the dead,” you will discover that they do not really understand the Lord’s bodily resurrection. Simply put, you can be assured that salvation did not occur for them. As Paul warned the Corinthians, anyone who does not comprehend this fundamental Christian truth, “their faith is vain and they are STILL in their sins.” (I Cor 15:17)

What I have discovered lately is that there are those among the brethren whose testimony seems to be completely in line with the scriptures concerning repentance and resurrection, yet they too are not saved. These imposters are extremely dangerous because like Judas Iscariot, they are completely delusional. Once discerned, they should be treated kindly yet held at a spiritual distance as with a long-handled spoon and of course, prayed for if you are so led. Those experienced at trying the spirits can discern them because the Lord will open your eyes “to really SEE them” for what they are. In such instances, you must be as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove. Like my Grammie used to say, “When your hand is in the lion’s mouth, EASE IT OUT!”

The way to discern spiritual counterfeits is rather simple for the Lord said “you will know them by their fruits.” The fruit most obvious as it relates to discerning the saved is that born again people will always have a special love for other Christians, even when we may disagree on spiritual subjects that do not hinder anyone’s salvation. .So if you really want to try the spirits, get brave enough to go to those who claim to be in Christ and tell them of your offense. If their reaction is belligerent, argumentative, with no care or concern that they have hurt your feelings, and you are assured that YOU are one of the elect of God, then there is your answer. That person is NOT saved regardless of how many bible scriptures they can quote. They are in disobedience to the word of God where loving the brethren is concerned.

I see this kind of thing operative on Facebook ALL of the time among people who claim to be “among the brethren.” Each so-called Christian puts out a post, in competition to others. If you are not a part of their clique, then they will not comment on anything that you post, unless they can criticize. For example, I posted an article on Eddie Long’s sexual abuse scandal and I got a bunch of “that’s in poor taste, Pamela”. Then everybody got quiet when one of their own posted the same article. They read everything I post, yet they refuse to comment or even press the “like” button. These are people who really have no love for ALL the brethren.

They are respectors of persons.

Rejection of the brethren is a major strategy of the devil, particularly when another alleged “child of God” is the messenger. I spent 25 years of my spiritual life around counterfeit believers who had no love in them. Yet, because they were so religious, it never really crossed my mind that they were not saved. Remember that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against devils and demons. Therefore, devils and demons are forced to use people as their messengers. Consequently, the enemy’s natural and spiritual emissaries are usually false brethren.

I have found that once my spiritual discernment has been exercised sufficiently to recognize good from evil, a counterfeit emissary cannot remain around me for very long. There are times when I am contacted by email by people who have either visited my website or read one of my books or articles who sense that we are on the same spiritual track. Yet as soon as a difference comes to the surface, they behave in unfriendly, unseemly and even disturbing ways. No one should have to agree with you on EVERYTHING for them to continue loving you. Christian love is manifested as tolerance and acceptance. Whether you left their home church or not, if they are true Christians, they ought to accept the fact that you love Christ and you are in obedience to Him, even though your path may be different from theirs.

So a lack of tolerance, flexibility and acceptance is a sign of a religious demon and or a counterfeit birth. True brethren may not approve of your doctrine or even your lifestyle but to them, acceptance and understanding is essential to Christian love. Rejection based upon doctrinal differences is of the devil. So keep this in mind. Since the religious demon assigned to you has an agenda centered on causing YOU to lose your salvation, he will use human vessels to bring you to a point of discouragement by any means necessary. Whatever causes you to feel hopeless and without God in the world, is not the same factors that can be effective against someone else. So this demon will use different strategies but the goal is the same. He will do whatever he is permitted to do by God in an effort to seduce you to hate God. Like Job’s wife, the enemy will find someone in your life to say by their actions and their message, “Curse God and DIE!” The enemy knows that if you curse God, he has YOU in HIS pocket!

To know more about the many facets of the religious spirit, you need “Faces of the Religious Demon.”

What Is a Jezebel Spirit?
By Pam Sheppard
I don’t particularly like the name.  From a psychological perspective, the Jezebel spirit is a personality type.  It is called narcissistic personality disorder.  You cannot “cast out”  someone’s personality. Personality transformation is a renewal of the mind over time, a part of the deliverance counseling process.  However, from a spiritual perspective, the Jezebel “spirit” is simply a religious demon or a religious spirit. I called my third book “Faces of the Religious Demon,” because there practically countless ways that this demon manifests itself.  In the book, I present cases or profiles that were like “faces” or various facets of this demon.
There are people with religious demons who are tormented either with hearing voices, fears of having committed the unpardonable sin or of going to hell  as well constantly are bombarded by blasphemous thoughts. Some can’t even read their bibles out loud or silently. I recall a case where a captive could only read a pocket bible for fear that a demon would use her arm to pound her in the head with a hardcover, and possibly sustain  a concussion.
Need deliverance? Call 518-477-5759
So it is easy to embrace  a quick-fix  simply to relieve or stop the torment. Most workers  simply attempt to cast out demons  as a means to remove ALL  of a person’s bondages.  It never really works. I have found that setting captives free who have a spirit of religiosity  in any form,  involves more than simply driving out the demons.
There are usually various strongholds to be torn down. Since strongholds are incorrect thinking patterns, this is done through the renewing of the captive’s  mind according to the Word of God. As the Lord said “you can’t put new wine into old wineskins or it will break. You can’t put a new patch of cloth on an old garment or it will tear, and you certainly cannot serve 2 masters, or you will hate the deliverance worker and love the preachers and teachers who are a significant yet hidden cause of your captivity.
The purpose of deliverance is to gain freedom from any hindrances in your life that would keep you from walking in the fullness of God’s plan for your life and your relationship with Him. Remarkably to some, it is often habitual religiosity that is the most difficult stronghold to overcome, even stronger than an addiction to alcohol or drugs because religion and “going to church” is culturally engrained and is therefore considered “the right thing to do.” It takes much time and patience to free captives from religion or a deceptive form of spirituality–a form of godliness that denies the power thereof.

A Deliverance Classic by Pam Sheppard
The bottomline is that I cannot work with a “religious captive” who continues to go to church, feed from the tables of either deceived or false prophets, and who is praying to a fake god. Therefore I mandate that while involved in deliverance counseling or mentoring with Sheppard’s Counseling Center, the captive must cease and desist from all religious activity. Old things must pass away so that all things can become new.
“When considering the demon referred to by the field of deliverance ministry as ‘Jezebel,’ we generally think of a female seductress and therefore sexual images are foremost in our minds.  It is true that where idolatrous religions are concerned, sex, lust and worship are intricately intertwined.  But make no mistake.  The distinguishing characteristic of Jezebel, is that she is religious. Jezebel is the religious face of the spirit of the Anti-Christ, an overwhelming narcissistic prides that has an arrogant self-image of perfection. Mainly caused by a refusal to accept their own imperfections, the pride of this particular face or facet of the religious demon is the denial of a sinful nature.  For built into the soul of such a one is a strength of will that hinders a captive so afflicted, to be able to submit to the will of God. Consequently, such captive find it extremely difficult to repent.”

Eternal Security? Yes—And No

2 Feb

I do not believe in the doctrine of eternal security. Yet I do believe that as long as a child of God desires to be saved, he or she can certainly remain so.

For as long as we abide in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our salvation is eternally secure. Nevertheless, Satan has assigned a religious demon to each and every one of the elect of God, with two primary assignments: Either to cause us to lose our salvation or to destroy our flesh. Consider the fornicator in Corinth. Paul warned that unless this man repented of his sin, he would be turned over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that the man would not LOSE his salvation. This warning suggests to me that sins of the flesh can cause the saved to become unsaved. Rather than see that happen, God apparently has an agreement with the devil that un-repented sinners are in his hands and quite frankly, that Satan can kill them as a means to protect their eternal life.

So where it comes to trying the spirits in your own life, it is important that you know that Satan is after either your salvation or permission from God to kill you. Certainly the devil would prefer that you lose your salvation but I suspect that he will settle with the opportunity to kill you before your appointed time. This is the reality.

In order not to depart from the faith by giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of religious devils, it behooves us to know the enemy. All else is wishful thinking and downright foolishness. Without a doubt, we have an Advocate with the Father who serves as both Intercessor and as Mediator. As our heavenly lawyer, He stacks our case with grace and mercy. Yet Jesus needs us to provide Him with a victorious defense. Therefore, learning about the tricks, schemes, wiles and overall agenda of the enemy cannot be done if we concentrate on God alone.

This was the lesson of Job. He was afraid of evil and consequently he wrongfully assumed that ignoring Satan by focusing solely on God would keep him safe. Most assuredly, the enemy cannot stop God from saving us. However, once we have been born again, the enemy has the right to attempt to sift us like wheat and thereby hinder our spiritual growth and render our works as wood, hay and stubble. If or when we enter the kingdom, it is as by the fires of a very narrow escape.

So it is crucial to always keep at the forefront of your mind the knowledge that you are in an invisible war. You are either an overcomer or a captive. There is no middle ground. You are either a victor or a prisoner of war. The manner in which you try the spirits is the essential factor in your plan to first of all, “stay saved” and secondly to “not be turned over to Satan for the destruction of YOUR flesh.” Jesus Christ of Nazareth must remain the Vine. We are the branches. If we abide in Him, we bring forth much fruit. If we don’t, then we are cast forth as a withered branch and we “are burned.” (John 15 1-12.)
