Charismatic wolves have opened the doors wide to religious demons with divination masquerading as prophecy.
Have you ever wondered why astrology is forbidden in the bible as an abomination to God? Having once been an astrologer back in the 70’s, I will venture a guess.
Astrology is one of many forms of divination. Divination is simply “fortune-telling” or making prognostications with pieces of information–probabilities and possibilities— that are not exact knowledge.
To please God, we must trust Him by walking by faith and not by sight. To seek to know the future is to “not trust God.” Simple.
Furthermore, behind every act of divination are several assigned demons or fallen angels. These spirit entities have been around a lot longer than human beings. They live in a realm where the past, present and the future are a continuum and time is not bound by our linear expectations. So angels and demons have the capacity to reach into the future or reach back to the past and reveal bits of potential truth to the seeker. However, pulling out a segment of the future and presenting it before its time can have disastrous consequences.
In “the New Idolatry“ you will find these words concerning divination in the Institutional Church:
Divination within the organized church community is aimed at controlling the lives and destinies of gullible people. Pulpits are filled with diviners and soothsayers–charismatic type hype masters —-that have no other message but one that caters to our flesh. Like the astrologers, the card layers and such, the divination of old has progressively worsened in our time because the church community is now flooded with false prophets who the ignorant seek “for a personal word from God.” These pseudo messengers leave devastated people in their paths. As they prophesy presumptuously in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, declaring things that He has NOT spoken to them, is comparable to New Age divination.”
Here is how divination works. The enemy has difficulty “putting a spell on you” unless he first informs YOU about it. So a spirit will tell you that your friend or your neighbor is a witch or a wizard. And it may be true. But they want to make sure you know it so they can put fear in you of that person. Then the demons will use your self-induced anxieties, doubts and fears to bring THEIR plans about in YOUR life. In other words, devils and demons are skilled at making YOU your own worst enemy.
You see, they can’t “do what they do,” without your cooperation and consent.
In order to control our lives, the enemy has to “plant his desires” into our spirits. About five years ago, someone sent me a message. She had a vision that witches were trying to bring harm on me and that they were attempting to put a spell on me. I didn’t scold her. Wouldn’t make any sense because the damage had already been done. The goal is to project fear into their target by making sure they hear that someone is practicing witchcraft on them. At that very moment, I was involved in an antagonistic situation with someone who had “witchcraft in her background.” So of course, my eyebrow was raised but I didn’t panic. I was just extra careful and observant. That was seven years ago and nothing has transpired.
The thing to do is to “watch and pray.” Keep your mouth shut until the crisis, if there is one, has passed. Also, you would-be prophets, don’t let the enemy use YOU to plant fear into someone who you care about. Pray and rest in God. If God showed her that someone was praying against me, then the Holy Ghost was calling her to pray. Fallen angels are extremely skilled at using friends, the people even of your own household, to speak evil into your life. So wisdom is certainly necessary. I learned the hard way to “be slow to speak.”

As a member of RESCUE who has experienced being set free from demons, one of the things that surprised me as i went through counseling and detoxed from religion was the fact that i had engaged in witchcraft without my knowledge. Looking back I never interacted with people who engaged in witchcraft. In fact, to my knowledge,i never even read occult books or watched any occult shows. I considered such things as the worship of the devil— pure evil which i didn’t want to be associated with.
Consequently, It was shocking and humbling to discover that some of my self- righteous religious acts were no different from those of a new age practitioner . So even though I never engaged in the occult, it was shocking to discover that I learned witchcraft practices in the Institutional Church.
Witchcraft can simply be defined as the practice of magic, the use of spells and invoking spirits.
There are several ways that i was duped into witchcraft while attending an Institutional church.
Witchcraft Prayers
I owned several spiritual warfare books and recited statements that involved commanding “angels”, the stars, planets and even God. I would bind the devil and cast him back to hell. These prayers used scripture out of context. For sure, no human can command God to do anything, so to think otherwise is foolish. We lie to ourselves if we think God is at our beck and call.
To command the sun, moon, planets and stars is delusional, but to command angels has a dangerous spin to it. Gods’ angels do not accept our invitations or instructions but fallen angels do, in order for the devil to have legal right to be in your life, you have to invite him in.
My invitation to these fallen angels had severe consequences. I started suffering from demonic torment – my mind, body and soul was under constant attack. My fear grew greatly as the attacks would happen mainly at night.
During prayer meetings, people used to be manipulated to change their ways by being shamed in public prayers where intercessors would air out people’s issues. When ministers control & manipulate people’s behavior, their actions are a clear sign of witchcraft. There are many examples of how people are controlled in the church and public prayer is one of the them.
Religious Rituals
To counter the demonic torment that I suffered from, i turned to more rituals – applying anointing oil on my bed, door, windows, ceilings and on myself. Inviting the Holy Spirit to come in and fill my apartment, i played worship music and recited bible verses and prayers. None of this helped, In fact, I simply added fuel to the fire. My religious acts were also motivated by fear not faith.
Bibliomancy
I would also, seek out random passages in the Bible and apply them to my life with no regard for the context. I also used it to “decree and declare” my future and pray for certain events to occur. This practice which i was taught in the church actually comes from the Middle ages where people who practiced divination would open the bible and whichever page they landed upon, they would read out the scripture and use it to give spiritual insight into what they are looking for. I was pretty much behaving like my own psychic.
Worshipping in the flesh
The Bridal paradigm in the church has brought about the increase of love songs to Jesus which are disguised as praise and worship songs. Everytime i engaged in a worship session, i would feel warm and tingly in my chest, i assumed that these were “feelings of God’s love” overflowing in me. These experiences were short lived which caused me to depend upon an emotional roller-coaster. The more I felt unloved,the more needed to attend more worship sessions to feel loved. I’ve come to learn that love is not a feeling & more importantly the Holy Spirit does not entertain our flesh. These manifestations of “love” were all sensual and had nothing to do with the Spirit of God. True believers of the Lord Jesus have to worship in Spirit & in Truth.
In the New Idolatry, Pastor Pam Sheppard writes in detail how witchcraft has infiltrated the Institutional Church, One part that stood out to me is how a new age practitioner and a Charismatic Christian could address a similar issue using methods that many would assume are worlds apart, when in reality, they actually are similar and run parallel to each other. “For the sake of comparison, consider how both a new age practitioner and a Charismatic Christian would approach a typical problem, namely, a woman seeking to stop the infidelity of a lover or husband. From the occultist, the woman might be required to purchase a defense enchantment like burying her man’s shirt at full moon, while pronouncing a curse or a magic formula seven times. As the shirt wears out and disintegrates in the ground overtime, so also will the man’s love for the other woman fade and dissolve.
Both the occultists and those deceived by charismatic teachings rely on the credulity and readiness of those they counsel and advise. In like manner, charismatic witchcraft might approach this classic problem from a variety of religious perspectives, with the twist that God is made amenable to the woman’s plans. Supernatural dreams and visions labeled the discerning of spirits, a word of wisdom, a word of knowledge and prophecy, intercessory prayers of “binding and loosing” and the taking of scripture out of their natural context and applying them to the woman’s personal agenda are the primary methods of choice. In this instance, the woman might be advised to pray over her man’s side of the bed, anoint it with oil or holy water, name it and claim it by sending forth evil prayers against her man’s lover, in unsavory ways unbefitting to Jesus Christ, and pray controlling, manipulative prayers to change the man’s behavior.Rather than deal openly with the issues of infidelity, sin and spousal abuse, Charismatics are infamous for seeking “the supernatural solution.”
To my dismay, I learned, that many practices both in and out of the church that are widely accepted as normal today actually have their origins in witchcraft. I thank God for my deliverance journey that started when i reached out to Pastor Pam who walked me through the deliverance process, helped me break my false conversion and discard false teachings. I got healed from my torment once I received the truth about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Since we live in such deceptive times, you could be engaging in witchcraft practices, totally unaware. The danger in doing so is you open yourself up to the spiritual world and give demons legal rights to enter your life and run it amok.

Those whom the Lord saves who were accustomed to supernatural experiences like telekinesis, poltergeist and other magical types of manifestations will try to explain such phenomena with scriptures. They rationalize and continue to believe that psychic phenomena are the gift of miracles.
For example, I was just born again a year or so when I spoke to a storm and it seemed that I stopped it. It was one of those summer storms. My clothes were drying on an outside line and I had just settled down in my backyard in a lawn chair with a cool drink when the sky got dark and the winds kicked up. I stood up, spoke directly to the storm and commanded it to leave. I kid you not, it rained all around my backyard, but not a drop fell where I dwelled. The sun came back out, shined only above me, while the entire neighborhood was flooded with rain. It was quite a deluge. So of course, I connected this incident to the Lord speaking to a storm and what He said about speaking to mountains as my biblical “confirmation. I look back now and I realize that this manifestation was not from God. The motive? To make me into a signs and wonders, charismatic freak. The fallen angel responsible was quite successful. It didn’t take much to turn me into granola—a fruit, a nut and a flake!
Here is the crux of the problem. As a product of New Age occultism, Christians with psychic phenomena in their past remain ignorant of the deception of the mighty foe. So once born again, each of us has been assigned a religious/witchcraft spirit entity whose job is to seek every opportunity to buffet us with counterfeits of the gifts of the Holy Ghost that seem to be from God.. The assigned fallen angel or demon waits for an element of the flesh to manifest itself in the new believer, in order to gain his master’s end. The Apostle Paul calls that aspect of our flesh by the name of witchcraft. Like Simon the Sorcerer, we carry in our flesh a lust for the supernatural that the enemy works with. Since occultists are trained to expect the supernatural, hidden in our flesh remains the same desire AFTER we are saved.
How did I overcome? My story is in “Come Out of Her, God’s People.”
I experienced many dealings of the flesh—many trials, tribulations and tests.
Being put to death in the flesh goes on and on. Overcoming was not finished in one mighty stroke. The Holy Spirit covered all bases, first dealing with my ambition for the 3 p’s of prestige, prominence and power. What helped me is that even when I was a sinner, I was a lover of the truth. So I became one who sought spiritual truth at all cost. Also, as Paul was assigned a religious demon–a thorn in his flesh–to develop him, so was I.
I am a overcomer because my religious demon presented me with trials and temptations to overcome. From 1977-2003, —26 years–the religious demon was in the driver’s seat regarding charismatic manifestations. I was completely duped. Yet in 2003—, once I prayed “Lord, show me the darkness that is around me,”— all things continue to be exposed.
In every test, I had the choice of going down and being crushed by the spirit of the anti-christ or rising up in spirit victory. I ROSE UP!

Witchcraft is the practice of cursing and controlling people and situations with a counterfeit spiritual authority and power, using white and black magic. However, witchcraft is also listed among other traits and conditions as a “lust of the flesh” or a personality type. We all have experienced these kinds of people. It is one thing to be a pain in the ass know-it-all. However, when a person tries to manipulate, dominate and control the lives of other, that is when witchcraft as a lust of the flesh is quite obvious. A personality trait cannot be cast out. When the person is active and prominent in your life–perhaps a parent, a spouse, a sibling, relative or a friend,— then you will have to develop diversified strategies to protect yourself. Once I continue too discuss such strategies, this subject could turn into a book that I might consider writing. For now, let us look at witchcraft from the standpoint of moral purity.
Utterly committed to upholding their own self-image, captives in the grips of witchcraft as a lust of their flesh will fight to uphold an appearance of moral purity. Moral purity in this instance is not so much a desire to seek after true righteousness but more a desire to appear righteous to his or her entire public. A Jezebelian personality type is like her old testament predecessor in the flesh. Her desire is “to kill the prophets of God” and to crown false prophets that are obedient to Satan. In this regard, the religious demon has found a seat in the organized church, a pivotal position to fulfill Satan’s goal of killing true prophets.
From the onset, I point out that a sensitivity and a compassion for those bound by witchcraft as a lust of the flesh is certainly essential to set a captive free. In fact, I am always prepared to help these captives to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives when I perceive that the Holy Spirit has confronted them to face their own wickedness. Only God Himself can do this. However, He may use you. Just know that no amount of persuasion or debate will affect a captive who has witchcraft as a personality trait. And if the victim is in a position of authority in your life, you should never forget that you are in for a formidable struggle where the odds are stacked against you. Remember also that the actual spirit called witchcraft will use its captives by sending other demons of accusation, rejection, condemnation and fear as a means of a counter attack, so it is imperative that you be is wise as a serpent but as harmless as a dove. New Age visualization is the use of mental concentration and directed mental imagery in the attempt to secure particular goals, whether physical, psychological, vocational, educational, or spiritual.
The practice of visualization is ancient. How does it claim to work? Visualization attempts to program the mind to discover inner power and guidance. For example, by using the mind to contact an alleged inner divinity or “higher” self, practitioners claim they can manipulate their personal reality to secure desired goals, such as occult revelations, financial security, health, or improved learning, etc.
I suppose that visualization is also a way to enter into an ASC. When I studied self-hypnosis, I was trained to use heat to induce heaviness, which itself opens the doorway to a trance-like state. Counting backwards in a monotone, you say something like, “you are laying in the sun, you feel hot, heavy, you can’t hold up your arm because it is so heavy.” And this is how it actually feels when you are in an ASC. You begin to get drowsy, this is a form of visualization.
The Satanists are strong on using visualization techniques to open their chakras. Yet they provide a step by step process to close chakras which is not permanent. These are the reasons they give for closing chakras. Look at what I have highlighted as to THEIR reasons for closing them:
This exercise is important and very useful for shutting out unwanted and/or harmful energies. Upon closing your chakras, you will feel a sense of calm and inner peace. Closing your chakras will also protect you from the energies of both unpleasant humans and astral entities as both attach themselves, penetrating at the chakras. By closing your chakras when you are in the presence of threatening beings, you can prevent most of the negative energies from entering and attaching to your soul. Closed chakras can also protect you from psychic vampirism. This exercise can also help to still the mind when done before void meditation as it shuts out a lot of psychic noise. In my own simple, straightforward, less euphemistic language, harmful energies are evil spirits. Astral energies are evil spirits. Threatening beings are evil spirits. A psychic vampire is an evil spirit that uses a human medium. Psychic noise is hearing voices that lead to mental illnesses.
Since chakras are doorways to the soul, in order for these beings to “attach themselves to a soul,” the person becomes demonized by either oppression, depression or possession.
So what Satanists are teaching their followers is that if while visualizing, or astral travelling they run into evil spirits, they need to close their chakras. I agree! Yet what I warn folk based on this very information is that they should NEVER use visualization techniques, meditation, yoga, contemplative prayer, drugs or any other mystical practice because they are inviting evil spirits to occupy their souls.
When I close chakras of people who seek to be released from torment, I don’t use any visualization or meditation methods. I simply apply the name of Jesus Christ of NAZARETH, and His name works.
Several tormented people of all races, ages and religious persuasions after opening their chakras have already contacted me seeking deliverance. I find them to be the most difficult to work with because they seek an immediate solution and they don’t want to learn anything. Having delved in the occult, they have acquired a “know-it-all spirit.”
I listen to them, try my best to be polite and restrain myself when it’s humanly possible from saying “Listen, YOU brought this on yourself. If you don’t take the time to uncover the reasons why you ended up in this condition, you will find yourself worse off in the long run.” The truth is that many of them have provoked me to say just that and hang up the phone. Most of them are young, male, white and rebellious.
I have compassion for what you are going through and I would like to help you if you will allow me to do so in my own way, with techniques that have been tried and proven successful.

Back in 1974, on my own and experimenting in ignorance. I did not realize that various practices like hypnotism and other forms of deep meditation and astrology were an open door to inviting evil spirits into my life so I don’t stand in judgment of anyone. The truth of the matter is I was blessed to be delivered of occultism the day I was born again, March 29, 1977. Actually, I really did not learn very much about occultism “back in the day.” Consequently, since deliverance is a major part of what I do in this season, particularly with captives who have dabbled or been deeply into some form of spiritism, I have been reading about occultic practices that were unknown to me 40 years ago. So in my perusal of online articles written by occultists, Satanists, and witches, they are all on one accord about how to practice witchcraft. Simply put, occultists have to go into a deep trance through meditation, yoga, or self hypnosis and once in an altered state of consciousness at the right level or vibration, they use visualization and intense concentration to create a thoughtform.
How is a thoughtform defined in the literature? To keep it simple, the best way to describe a thoughtform is to compare it to the way children create imaginary friends. A thoughtform is a non-physical entity created purely from thought. While in meditation, the thoughtform is shaped with the mind into a silver ball. Occultists use this light to shape a ball of light, compacting and drawing more and more light into the ball until it has a diameter of approximately 10-15 inches. The ball should be like a brilliant radiating sun. The brighter the ball, the more powerful it is. (Joys Of Satan Ministries)
Back in 2002, a pastor contacted me for deliverance. He awoke suddenly by the phone ringing to people screaming in fear, and when he turned around, he saw a spinning silver ball coming toward him that first hit him in his chest and went inside of him. From that very moment, the pastor was overcome with fear. I did not know what this silver ball was until I recently started reading up on thoughtforms. I treated the silverball as if it was a demon, cast out the spirit of fear from him over the phone and he was instantly delivered.
Both white magic and black magic practitioners use thoughtforms in their work for different purposes. In such cases, the thoughtform is referred to as a “magickal assistant.” According to an article written on the Joys od Satan website. A thoughtform does not always have to be destroyed. Witches for centuries have often kept a reliable magickal assistant. Some have even spent lifetimes with the same assistant. The magickal assistant must be “fed” regularly. By “fed” this means giving it energy and programming it. Destroying a faithful and reliable servant is foolish.
A thoughtform is a small packet of condensed psychic energy. Like all energy, the thoughtform can be programmed to carry out specific tasks and/or directed to travel to a target area. The success of the thoughtform is dependent upon the mind strength and aura of its creator. A weak thought form will quickly dissipate, accomplishing nothing.
Powerful thoughtforms, when neglected can wreak havoc. Energy feeds on energy and a thought form that is several weeks old will have accumulated all kinds of different influences, emotions and other energy from its surroundings. This might appear to be amusing to some, but the mutated thought form has often been known to reappear in the locale of its creator, only to wreak havoc, due to the outside energies it has accumulated.
Recently, I cast out all demons from someone who obtained 70-80 percent relief from torment. So when she told me that entities were still flooding into and out of her eyes, I knew they were not demons. Once demons are in a person, they do not float out on their own. Once inside, to get them out, they must be cast out. This also did not sound like the work of fallen angels. Well, to make a long story short, it was uncovered that she had created hundreds of thoughtforms through masturbation. The literature revealed

I suspect that the person I am working with created multiple thoughtforms when she masturbated and visualized she was in a room with a load of men. These could be the thoughforms that are flowing in and out of her eyes.
The truth of the matter is that I strongly suspect that thoughtforms are a much neglected subject of deliverance. In fact, thoughforms give new meaning to the scripture regarding casting down imaginations and every high thing that would exalt itself above the knowledge of God and bringing all thoughts into the obedience of Christ. A thoughtform is both imaginary and real, created either by the captive’s own thought life or by someone who has strong animosity for him or her.
How do I intend to destroy them? Well the author of the article on Joys of Satan teaches that to destroy a thoughtform, you ,must first summon it, visualize it coming to you and hovering in the air before you. Then you are to focus and visualize the energy vanishing like smoke into the air and say something like “you are no more.” The author suggest that the creator of the thoughtform will have to repeat this procedure several times.
That is all well and good but I intend to do what I did 12 years ago when I cast that entity from the pastor. I intend to use the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth against all thoughtforms.
So how does one practice witchcraft unawares? Well, Charismatics are doing it all the time without realizing it. Consider Leroy Thompson, the preacher that came up with the affirmation “money cometh to ME!” Here is a comparable example from “the Joys of Satan” Ministries website. See if you notice the similarities to prosperity teachings:
Energy does not have the reasoning power as to *HOW* what you want is coming to you. Energy takes the path of least resistance, unless it is programmed. For example, many of you want more money. Don’t just affirm “Money is coming to me.” This could manifest, if undirected, say on a job where you handle money, like a cashier for example, or through your paycheck, as usual. That is the easiest way. You have to further affirm: “Large amounts of free and easy money are coming to me.” “This money is all mine to keep and spend as I wish.” You also should affirm “in a very positive and happy way for me.” You don’t want a loved one to die and leave you an inheritance or get the money in a way that would be unpleasant.
So your affirmation would go something like this: “Large amounts of free and easy money are coming to me, This money is all mine to keep and spend as I wish. This money is coming to me in a very positive and happy way for me.”
Once again, the occultists and Satanists are far more advanced in these matters than their so-called Christian counterparts.

DID “THUS SAITH THE LORD?”

Only the Holy Ghost knows how many in Christendom who claim to be prophets by declaring , “thus saith the Lord,” or “God told me,” or “I was led in the spirit”—are really the messengers of Satan sent to control your life in God by the python spirit. Today, in the 21st century, churches are filled with soothsayers and charismatic hype masters whose message from the pulpit is merely a gratification of the flesh. There is a seductive spirit of divination sweeping across churches of all persuasions, seeking to control the lives of the un-suspecting. Laity leaders serve as divination foot-soldiers,forearmed “with a word” to maintain the power and authority of those in the pulpits. Demons help out also as they whisper into congregant’s ears, “give a $1000 dollars.”
I can recall that one of my associates, Minister Kellie, completely delivered depression in record time by the power of God, was approached by a member of her former church. Although Kellie’s progress is quite remarkable, the former church member approached her with a “thus saith the Lord.” “I had a vision of you and I saw you have a python snake attached to your spirit. Are you okay? Since you left the church, we’ve all had concerns about you. We’ve all been praying for your return to the fold.”
In one of our mentoring telephone conversations, Kellie casually mentioned this but I could tell that she was shaken by it. I yelled through the telephone “NO! STOP. THAT WORD CAME FROM THE HEART OF A DEMON ASSIGNED TO STEAL YOUR RECOVERY FROM YOU! DO NOT RECEIVE IT!!!!”
Certainly, professing Christians without knowledge may seem to have good intentions.Yet, when you find yourself in bondage to what they claim God has said about you to them, what does it matter whether they had either good or bad intentions??? The results are the same.Your spirit has been penetrated and the enemy has successfully planted his desires into YOUR spirit to cause you confusion and ultimate harm!!!!
Take it from someone who knows. I am well insulated by God from face to face contact with people who allow demons to use them as messengers of Satan to control my life . I have even learned how to block out my dreams. So when the enemy cannot “reach me,” he’ll make a phone call, send a Facebook message or send an email.
Now I know that’s right!
I have personally received “thus saith the Lords” in emails and over the telephone on quite a few occasions. Now when I personally receive “a word” about someone else, I have learned to “keep my mouth shut.” Control freaks can’t do this. They are under too much compulsion to blurt out knowledge obtained by supernatural means to prove that “they are anointed of God.”
Here is how divination works. The enemy has difficulty “putting a spell on you” unless he first informs YOU about it. Then he will use your self-induced anxieties, doubts and fears to bring his plans about in YOUR life. In other words, devils and demons are skilled at making YOU your own worst enemy. You see, it is easier “do what they do,” with your cooperation and consent. In order to control our lives, the enemy has to “plant his desires” into our spirits.
Recently,someone sent me a message. He had a vision that witches were trying to bring harm on me because of my website and that they were attempting to put a spell on me. I didn’t scold him. Wouldn’t make any sense cause the damage was already done. Coincidence or not, at that very moment,I was involved in a situation with someone who had “witchcraft in her background.” So of course, my eyebrow was raised but I didn’t panic. I was just extra careful and observant.
The thing to do is to “watch and pray.”
Keep your mouth shut until the crisis, if there is one, has passed. Don’t let the enemy use YOU to plant fear into someone who you care about.Pray and rest in God. If God showed him that someone was praying against me, then the Holy Ghost was calling him to pray. Fallen angels are extremely skilled at using friends, the people even of your own household, to speak evil into your life. So wisdom is certainly necessary. I learned the hard way to “be slow to speak.”
Therefore, when someone comes to you with a “thus saith the Lord” and it does not compute with you, you must become verbally aggressive.I do it regularly. People may think that I am crazy but I am quick to get animated and boldly declare, “no. I rebuke that. I don’t receive that.”
Sometimes I get worst and like the Lord, I’ll speak directly to that demon and say “get thee behind me.” I don’t care what people think. It is too important that I guard my spirit.

Rather than deal openly with the issues of infidelity, sin and spousal abuse, Charismatics are infamous for seeking “the supernatural solution.” (page 16)
