Like the rest of the institutional church, I used to believe that the great falling away would be made manifest when people left the church in droves as they began to deny the Lord. I understand that people are leaving the church in significant amounts in a rather quiet, un-noticeable way. Even so, most of these people have left because they wanted a deeper walk with Christ than the church can provide. Then there are those who are leaving because they were either offended or rejected.
I could be wrong, but I view this end time departure from the faith in a more subtle, symbolic way. In other word, a literal removing one’s name from the rolls, jumping up from the pews and exiting the building, may not necessarily occur. The departure from the faith could be an inward alienation from the Christian faith as the fruit…
The Apostle Paul’s thorn was a fallen angel and not a sickness or infirmity as some teach in the institutional church system. “Thorn in the side” is an expression similar to our present day “pain in the neck” or as connected to “other body parts.”
The “thorn” is a fallen angel that caused Paul to be shipwrecked, bitten by a snake, imprisoned, stoned and left for dead, in peril from folk, one harassment after another—all in an effort to hinder Paul’s ministry. Yet, because of God”s grace, Paul”s ministry has continued for 21 centuries for God”s grace is sufficient. In spite of the horrendous teaching today that the Apostle Paul was a false prophet, the ministry of this great man of God continues. God allowed the fallen angel assigned to Paul to continue because He did not want Paul to get puffed up concerning the supernatural power he walked in.
Sometimes our cameras can see what human eyes cannot. These 2 pictures were taken by a friend of mine in the early 80’s. They were taken over a graveyard. Could what you are looking at actually be a photo of the head of a real angel? Are these heads of God’s angels or are they fallen? I rotated the red pic. The red head in the sky is definitely NOT one of God’s angels. I don’t know about the other one. He looks quite Satanic to me. I have rotated the red one, so that its head can be seen. I don’t know about you but I see that it has its mouth wide open, in the shape of a circle. I can also see some teeth when the picture is enlarged.
I have a fallen angel assigned to me. His image came out on a photo taken of me on 10/25/81. It was the day I preached my trial sermon and entered ministry into the African American denominational church system. If you look very closely, you will see the head of a gargoyle, outlined in green. Turned toward me in a 3/4 profile, you can see the round top of his bald head, with a shot of a huge ear and a pointed chin. Look at the center of the wood wall paneling. His green eyebrow is touching my left hand. Interestingly enough, from 1974-2004, 30 years,— I had healing power in my left hand. I thought it was the healing power of God in that hand until the Holy Spirit revealed the truth. It was occult healing energy. Is that power still there? No, it left as soon as I received the truth and renounced it.
Does every Christian have a fallen angel assigned to him or her?
I don’t know.
It seems to me that Satan makes his assignments based upon how dangerous one is to the doing damage to his agenda and his maintenance of his kingdom.
I KNEW from the beginning that I was called to something “special and unique.” So what the enemy did for a time was try to persuade me to direct my ministry into other pursuits, namely, “prison ministry.” In fact, in 1985, a huge being with a deep voice appeared in one of my many dreams, declaring that “he was an angel sent by God to show me what I was to do.” He presented an elaborate, detailed plan which I believed for the next 20 years!!!!! Not so. He was sent by Satan and not by God!!!! His purpose? To deceive, distract and destroy!
When you consider what I am really called to do, you will understand why Satan assigned a fallen angel as a thorn in My side. In a nutshell, I am called to un-deceive the elect in this hour and to prepare them for end-times and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
All of the book of Revelation is symbolic of the age of the gentiles of the time of the church. In the first 3 books, the ages are set before us, from Ephesus to Laodicea. What is quite evident is that the age or dispensation which pleases the Lord the most was the church at Philadelphia. Within church history, the age of Philadelphia is clearly the Protestant Reformation. beginning in the 1500’s and ending prior to the age of Laodicea, which started around 1901.
About a century after the Reformation and the Establishment of the Protestant Church, a historic document was prepared in 1689 called the Second London Baptist Confession. It was written by Particular Baptists, who held to a Calvinistic Soteriology in England to give a formal expression of their Christian faith from a Baptist perspective. This confession, like the Westminster Confession of Faith (1646) and the Savoy Declaration (1658), was written by Puritans who were concerned that their particular church organization reflect what they perceived to be Biblical teaching. Because it was adopted by the Philadelphia Association of Baptist Churches in the 18th century, it is also known as the Philadelphia Confession of Faith.
The confession was first published in London in 1677 under the title “A confession of Faith put forth by the Elders and Brethren of many Congregations of Christians, Baptized upon Profession of their Faith in London and the Country. With an Appendies concerning Baptism.”[2] It was based on the Westminster Confession of Faith (1646) and the Savoy Declaration (1658), with modifications to reflect Baptist views on church organization and baptism.[2] The confession was published again, under the same title, in 1688 and 1689.[2]

Free Will
God has indued the will of man, by nature, with liberty and the power to choose and to act upon his choice. This free will is neither forced, nor destined by any necessity of nature to do good or evil.
Man, in his state of innocence, had freedom and power to will and to do that which was good and well-pleasing to God, but he was unstable, so that he might fall from this condition.
Man, by his fall into a state of sin, has completely lost all ability of will to perform any of the spiritual good which accompanies salvation. As a natural man, he is altogether averse to spiritual good, and dead in sin. He is not able by his own strength to convert himself, or to prepare himself for conversion.
When God converts a sinner, and translates him into a state of grace, He frees him from his natural bondage to sin, and by grace alone He enables him freely to will and to do that which is spiritually good. But because of his remaining corruptions he does not only (or perfectly) will that which is good, but also wills that which is evil.
The will of man will only be made perfectly and immutably free to will good alone in the state of glory.
Others are not elected, although they may be called by the ministry of the Word, and may experience some common operations of the Spirit, yet because they are not effectually drawn by the Father, they will not and cannot truly come to Christ and therefore cannot be saved. Much less can men who do not embrace the Christian religion be saved, however diligent they may be to frame their lives according to the light of nature and the requirements of the religion they profess.
Justification
Those whom God effectually calls He also freely justifies, not by infusing righteousness into them, but by pardoning their sins, and by accounting and accepting them as righteous, not for anything wrought in them, or done by them, but for Christ’s sake alone. They are not justified because God reckons as their righteousness either their faith, their believing, or any other act of evangelical obedience. They are justified wholly and solely because God imputes to them Christ’s righteousness. He imputes to them Christ’s active obedience to the whole law and His passive obedience in death. They receive Christ’s righteousness by faith, and rest on Him. They do not possess or produce this faith themselves, it is the gift of God.
Faith which receives Christ’s righteousness and depends on Him is the sole instrument of justification, yet this faith is not alone in the person justified, but is always accompanied by all the other saving graces. And it is not a dead faith, but works by love.
Christ, by His obedience and death, fully discharged the debt of all those who are justified, and by the sacrifice of himself through the blood of His cross, underwent instead of them the penalty due to them, so making a proper, real, and full satisfaction to God’s justice on their behalf. Yet because He was given by the Father for them, and because His obedience and satisfaction was accepted instead of theirs (and both freely, not because of anything in them), therefore they are justified entirely and solely by free grace, so that both the exact justice and the rich grace of God might be glorified in the justification of sinners.
From all eternity God decreed to justify all the elect, and Christ, in the fullness of time, died for their sins, and rose again for their justification. Nevertheless, they are not personally justified until the Holy Spirit, in due time, actually applies Christ to them.
God continues to forgive the sins of those who are justified, and although they can never fall from the state of justification, yet they may because of their sins, fall under God’s fatherly displeasure. In that condition they will not usually have the light of God’s countenance restored to them until they humble themselves, confess their sins, ask for pardon, and renew their faith and repentance.
Having never read this before, I immediately identified with it because it is what I preach and teach today. In short, the evil of man is not reliable enough to choose God because his free will is too corrupt. So clearly, the Holy Spirit was in the church, prior to Charles Finney and the sinner’s prayer.
The truth never disappears completely.

Once deliverance workers began to use the internet, much info is online. I must admit that as a deliverance worker myself, even I find what I read online to be way too mystical, way too confusing. Rather than go into legal rights, strongholds, generational curses and such, I am going to share two simple principles to override the complicated nature of deliverance with two basic truths:
All evil spirits need 2 things to enter a human target:
1.an altered state of consciousness—(aka a trance)and
2. an invitation.
Simple.
If you can trace how you entered a trance as well as how and when YOU made the invitation to the spirits, then the complicated nature of both how you became demonized and what needs to be done to successfully set you free is understood.
Below is a sample of a case study: ME. I have prepared many a case but I still know my own case better than all others.
So this is what you need to do.
Create a similar, progressive bullet list for yourself and much of the preliminary review is on its way to completion and fruition. Here is my personal sample:
My name is Pam Sheppard. Born again since 1977, I was a new age practitioner for 3 previous years. You might say that fallen angels were grooming me to be a psychic. So going back to 1974, here is how I trace the ground of my own experience—-how I entered an ASC and how I made the invitation to unseen entities in the spirit realm, ignorantly and unknowingly providing them access to my soul.
1. A lust of my flesh is witchcraft. It showed in my love for horror movies, particularly Dracula. I loved astrology, taught myself how to predict the future with it. I wanted to know my future and so I periodically sought out fortune tellers.
2. Through my profession, I learned relaxation therapy which is a euphemism for hypnosis. I put myself under and loved the ASC.
3. I started studying astrology to find out info on sudden deaths. I was plotting charts of dead people who were either murdered or had a sudden accident. I did this to glean information.
At this point, my spiritual door was cracked open, starting with my curiosity and affinity toward the supernatural. Yet the invitation was not yet made. Yet my steps were being ordered by invisible beings.
4. For example, I went to a graveyard to look at the tombstone of my astrology subject—-Frank—-to get his exact date of birth and date of death. It was not enough. So my gay best friend Henry said “lets have a séance.”
We did!!!
5. BINGO!!! THE INVITATION WAS MADE. WITH THE SEANCE, I SOUGHT INFORMATION FROM EVIL SPIRITS, WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT I WAS DOING. The head of a spirit showed up. HE HAD AN ASCOT IN HIS NECK AND LONG SIDEBURNS. Looked like the pics of the ascended master—a fallen angel who is called St. Germaine.
6. The stage was set.
There were 6 people conveniently gathered. 3 kids, 3 adults, 3 males, 3 females. A gay man conducting the séance. That night, I had my first experience of what is called sleep paralysis aka the haints. A spirit pressed my body down. I could not speak. The next day, I was sitting at the pool and met 2 psychics. Turns out, they would be my next door neighbors. They invited me to their apt to try out the Ouija board. The first try, a group of spirits, made themselves known, pretending to be people who I knew when they were alive, particularly, Sophie, who was my first secretary who died of cancer.
7. Shortly, I graduated from the Ouija to automatic writing with a pencil and paper. I would not know what was written until I looked down at the paper and read what was there. I held the top of the pen and another person held the bottom. On occasion I held the bottom. It was a weird feeling cause my mind was blank and I could tell I was not moving the pen. Then I graduated to them speaking through me, which only happened no more than a handful of times.
