Stand Up Ye Saints

The world has become ever more complicated, and people of the world have grown ever more manipulative and controlling. We have to be on guard, brave and bold so we do not fall victim and in bondage to people, places or things of the world. Stand up ye saints!

Be On Guard

Manipulative and controlling people exist. They are in your home, at your job, and even can be your wife or your husband. Manipulative people often get away with their games because we become numb, passive, and rationalize their behavior—rather than listen to instincts and confront.

Usually it happens from the moment we meet them. There are certain red flags, and things we felt were wrong but we take our guard down for various reasons:

1) We want to be accepted 2) there’s something they have that you want and 3) you are afraid of conflict.

These three things 1) acceptance 2) desire and 3) fear of conflict are what manipulators use to their advantage. And what we must deeply realize is that the toxic behaviors of manipulating people are often subconscious to them, or they have no idea they are toxic and controlling people: which makes them completely susceptible to be used by Satan. Stand up ye saints!

Acceptance, Desire, Conflict

Every human being from the moment they are born is seeking acceptance. The first humans we generally become accepted by are our parents. And it is our parents that can often be the most manipulative people in our lives because of this fact.

In any situation when we are seeking acceptance from people we put down our guard and become vulnerable. We become vulnerable because we place more value and concern about what other people think, rather than what you think: your beliefs, your cares, your conscience.

When this happens, they have access, in a “godfather” type of “kiss the ring” analogy. While your stance on things slowly deteriorates, their stance begins to dominate you, and risk putting you into bondage.

Manipulative people not only dominate over people who have acceptance issues, but they also seek for your ultimate desires, if there’s anything you want from them. This is when you have to be “innocent as doves” but also “wise as a serpent” and conceal what you want, your dreams, and your plans.

Once you open up what you truly want to worldly people, the Devil will use these people to derail your journey in Christ and control what you should have in life and put all those things “like a carrot on a string” and have you following after it like a mule.

The final and ultimate reason why we become controlled by other people is because we avoid conflict and have a fear of confrontation. If you don’t stand up and fight, you will always be in bondage. It’s better to lose fighting and still have your soul, than to lose your soul for the sake of pleasing toxic people… Stand up ye saints!

Be Inspired

Look at Hebrews chapter 11, to see that all it takes to stand up, is a little faith. You see, controlling people ultimately are puppets of the Devil used to keep you from having your freedom in Christ and reaching your purpose.

Look at the women in Egypt who defied the evil decree of Pharaoh to kill their children, because of that Moses was born. We see Moses, rise and stand up to Pharaoh and free the people of God from the chains of slavery.

We also see Rahab did not care to be accepted by her own culture, standing against them and helped the Israelite spies seize Jericho.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego refused to bow their knee to the demonic idol set up by king Nebuchadnezzar, they stood alone amongst their own people and were thrown into fire, but not a hair on their head was scorched.

Daniel too, when the demonic decree was issued that prayer was forbidden, he stood up against it, and despite being thrown in the lions den, the mouths of them were shut by his prayer.

Are You Standing?

All things work together for good, for those who belong in Christ. Whatever areas in your life you are struggling to stand, God is with you and wants you to have the victory.

What you should gleam from the previous examples is that conflict is inevitable when you stand up, BUT GOD WILL PROTECT YOU FROM SATANIC RETALIATION!

So, stand up ye saints! Stand! Stand up against the darkness of this age! Stand up against the principalities! Use the armor of God. Declare your allegiance to Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We have not been given a spirit of fear, but of love, of power and of a sound mind.

Take heart, be brave, watch. The enemy comes in many forms, in darkness, as an angel of light, with intelligence, with schemes, devices, and plots, all to make you passive, weak and succumbing to temptation, deception and darkness. To rob you of your joy and freedom, to plunder your peace. But he first has to bind you! By using human manipulation, guilt, and fear—stand up ye saints!

Jesus Christ of Nazareth is returning soon! Will He find you standing? Or will He find you bound? The victory is in Him, so be strong in Him! And in the MIGHT OF HIS STRENGTH!

The Darkness and The Light

In the beginning when the heavens and the earth was made, the earth had no form. It was empty, and void, and there was no light, everything was dark. Until God spoke, and declared, “Let there be light.” Then there was darkness and light, but the two were to remain divided, into what we call “day” and “night.”

Day and night have been symbolic of light and darkness since God created light. The Scriptures further reveal that is was Jesus who created light, the Son of God, the Word who is Creator of all things that came to be,

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”

We Need Light

If light was not needed, it would have never been created. Even if we have perfect vision, without light we will see nothing. The elemental powers of sun, the stars, the moon, and fire are the reason our eyes are able to see, comprehend and understand the world around us.

And of course, with the manmade invention of electricity, we are now able to see even more, if the elemental powers of nature don’t omit their light.

Just as we need natural light to see and understand, we also need spiritual light. You see, the light that God manifested to creation, is apart of His nature, “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all” and,

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

So, knowing God is symbolic that you are in the light and truth in spirit. Because anyone that draws near to God, must have Jesus who is this spiritual light,

“That was the true Light (Jesus) which gives light to every man coming into the world.”

Darkness and Light

Darkness and light are two opposing forces. Opposite of each other. They are divided and separated.

Darkness is not only symbolic of evil. Darkness is also symbolic of nothingness, voidness, blindness, unawareness. It’s a state, a place of being lost, having no direction, no vision. And because of this, people in darkness are deceived, and because they are deceived they do not know what is right and what is wrong. They call what is darkness “light” and what is light “darkness.” What is good is evil and what is evil “good.”

It’s much like having a fuzzy monster in your house with no electricity. You can’t see the fuzzy, furry monster you would never pet—but because of the darkness you are petting it. If there was light, even just a little light, you would run away immediately.

What we face being in the end-times is people “love petting the fuzzy monster.” Despite the fact that you know it’s a monster and will tell them, “You are petting a monster,” people don’t want the comfort and pleasure of their darkness to be disrupted or changed. They don’t want the light to expose the evil situation they are in.

The Light of the World

Jesus, light and truth are all one. Jesus is the light, Jesus is also the truth, so truth is also light. Jesus Himself said,

“The light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.””

What people in darkness need to get over is that YOUR discomfort, fear, pain, and suffering of being exposed by the light DOES NOT LAST FOREVER. Eventually, that initial discomfort, will turn into peace and freedom. Seeing the light, is also seeing the truth. Once you have the truth, the truth will make you free!

Just like the pleasure, delusion and satisfaction of darkness DOES NOT LAST FOREVER.

Why? Because when Jesus returns, light and truth will also return to the world, and everything will be exposed,

“He will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts.”

This also sounds of similar words,

“For the word of God (who is Jesus) is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open (ie. “exposed”) to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

Whether you are in light or darkness YOU are held accountable!

Spiritual Warfare With Light

Christian’s are known as children of light. There is also an armor of light, by which we are to arm ourselves with after we have “cast off the works of darkness.”

For, we have an enemy, an opponent who is the inventor of darkness, the one who originally rebelled against God and His light. His name, as we know is the devil.

Yet, what we must deeply realize is that the devil, can come AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT. Before Satan was cast down to the earth, his name was “Lucifer” in Hebrew, “light bearer.” He was the “anointed cherub.” So, the devil has intimate knowledge about “heavenly lights” and how to use it.

And this is the problem, is that Satan is using his darkness and his light to achieve his end-time agenda to deceive the entire world into accepting the Antichrist.

How Do We Overcome?

We must try the spirits. We must heed to the advice and instruction of the brethren. We must yield and follow the direction of our shepherd, our Pastor Pam. We must take heart to the words of our Lord Jesus and obey Him and His commandments.

How can we distinguish the marvelous light of the Lord, and the flashy light of Satan? It’s simple.

A good tree cannot produce bad fruit.

A bad tree cannot produce good fruit.

What fruit do you have with the light you are following? Do you have peace? Do you have love for the brethren? Do you have freedom? Do you have torment? Are you under constant attack? Do you have fear? Are you loving the world? Or are you loving the Lord?

At Exodus Internet Church, we are a lamp, a torch in the night, standing tall for anyone who wants to see the light—for anyone who wants to understand what’s happening in this dark world.

If you can’t tell where you stand, if you are in darkness, all you have to do is ask the Lord to expose the darkness around you.

Identity: Homosexuality & Transgenderism in Endtimes

            When one looks to find the truth, they’ll find its light fulfills and sustains them.   

Homosexuality in the West

Exodus Internet Church’s mission is to equip the saints with two of the most powerful aspects of Christian living: knowledge and truth. This is doubly important in our society today as we live in the 11th hour – the dawn of the day when the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth returns.

American and western culture has found itself shifting and changing at a dramatic rate over the last 20+ years in particular. We have seen a country at war with itself on a number of fronts including ideology, spirituality, culture, morality, etc. Yet there is a certain sin and movement in our culture that I feel the need to stretch out and place underneath the stage of a microscope so it can be properly dissected and understood from a spiritual perspective.

And that is the deception, concept and sin of homosexuality. And when I say homosexuality, I am not addressing just male-on-male or female-on-female relationships. It’s deeper than that – there is now bisexuality, non-binary and transgender sexuality at play that needs to be understood spiritually.

First, let us consult the Scriptures to see what God has to say about sexuality. In Genesis we read about Adam and how a woman, Eve, was created to give Adam partnership in his life. Leviticus is more explicit with regard to homosexuality: Leviticus 20:13 states that a man lying (having sexual relations) with a man and a woman having sex with a woman is an abomination. We see Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed for its sexual immorality. And both Jude 1:7 and Romans 1:26-28 talk about homosexuality as a sin and calls such a thing unnatural.

The word unnatural is important here. Men and women were created to have sex with each other and no one else. Any variation of these two sides of a sexual union is unnatural.

LGBTQ+ is an Attack on One’s Individuality

I want to put this in a spiritual perspective: Homosexuality, transgenderism, non-binary identification, bisexuality, etc. are all an attack on the individual’s identity!

There’s a lot to cover here.

First off, we get a blueprint of what human sexuality naturally looks like and is designed for in the Bible: man and woman whose biological designs fulfill the other’s with the capability to reproduce.

Second, I need to make this clear: there is a demonic agenda in homosexuality. Homosexuality is a house ruled by evil spirits. At a young age, they will target a person and bombard their minds with thoughts of finding members of the same sex sexually attractive. Because the average populace is unaware of the fact that evil spirits communicate with people through the mind, they make the error of assuming that these thoughts are their own and are thus gay.

Their agenda with it is to get the person to livein sin by not just committing a sin, but by taking that sin and making it a fundamental aspect of their personality. It is no longer “I committed a homosexual act” but “I am gay, was born gay, and that is a central part of my life that I will always identify as.” This is open rebellion against God and the person is deceived by the devil because they think they “realized” they were gay. The truth is that an evil spirit planted the thoughts into their minds and the person claimed it as part of their personality unaware of its deception.

The concept of male and female identity has been further bastardized by the concept of transgenderism. Transgenderism is an attack and mockery of God as a creator. You must understand that God delights in the act of creating. Just like he framed and crafted every galaxy and planet down to each animal or insect on the earth, every human being is a glorious creation by the Lord God. They are even more special because they have a soul and spirit that lives on after death, made to have a special connection with God Himself. And each one has a distinct personality.

Despite only a few facial features in our eyes, noses, lips and the different shapes we can take, God has found a way to make each and every single individual in this world unique. For all the billions of different people to have ever walked this earth, no two are the same. Yet despite all of their variety, they always come in one of two sexes: male or female.

There is a specialness to this. God wants you to be a man. God wants you to be a woman. Regardless of who you are, you can be an individual and embrace both masculinity and femininity depending on your personality and interests. Satan Mocking God as Creator

By declaring that you are a woman when you are a man or are a man when you are a woman, you not only make a mockery of the sacred act of the creation of man and woman, but also forfeit your true identity to the devil. Because homosexuality is one of the main walls of deception that Satan is exerting onto the masses in this day and age.

Satan is trying to lead men and women down the path of denying themselves. By convincing them that they are the opposite sex of who they truly are, evil spirits are saying, “God, we are the true creators. Your creation of man or woman does not suffice in our eyes, so we will make your own creation rebel against you and proclaim that they are their own identity of male or female. You made them man and woman, now we are making them the opposite.” God created them as man, but Satan is the one who is getting them to say that they are women.

Evil spirits imitate God and mock Him as many chances as they get. This stems from Satan originally rebelling against God and proclaiming that he will be the one to rule over all. The sexuality and gender of a man or woman is a fundamental trait of who they are as an individual – God put that them in them as He created them. To deny that is a rebellious act exerted by evil spirits. Satan is trying to prop himself up as the ultimate creator by perverting one’s identity into something it is not.

The deception has gone so deep that identity has been confused by even wilder means. There are people who they think are multiple people at once, different personalities who take them over, and even a group of people (furries) who pretend to be animals and dress up as them. The last is especially mocking of God because as humans we were meant to rule over animals. For what reason would we ever want to be like one in our physical form when God gave us human bodies that, one day, will be made perfect by the Lord Jesus Christ?

In addition to this, the very notion of “gay pride” being represented both thru the word of pride and the image of a rainbow is a mockery in itself. Pride is one of the last things any Christian wants to be, as the Bible tells us that pride gets God to resist us.

By not only owning the identity of homosexuality but being prideful in it, that person makes it even more difficult for God’s grace to act in their life! For they are unknowingly wrapped in a combo of both homosexuality and pride, two great affronts to God. Satan did this intentionally to frustrate the person’s ability to find the truth even more. The more densely sin is compounded in one’s life, the harder it is to find the truth as the fogs of deception, confusion and lies overtake the person’s mind to the point they forget who they are.

As for the rainbow imagery, the rainbow was created as a sacred sign by God to assure us that He would never destroy the earth with a flood again. A Christian image and special message by God has been perverted by Satan for use by the LGBTQ+ community so people forget the inherent Godliness of the message.

The entire agenda of homosexuality is to get the individual to live a lie. A life with the lie of homosexuality on the crown of their head, declaring that it is who they are when it is completely antithetical to the natural experience of being a man or woman.

What needs to be done is for homosexuality to be looked at for what it is: sin. The good news is that no sin is above the power of God, with EIC even having one of our most prominent members having been delivered from the sin and deception of homosexuality upon being born again. Acknowledging one’s own identity as a man and woman and how God naturally created them is a beautiful first step to living an authentic life true not just to themselves, but to the Lord God who created them that way.


Let us rejoice in being a man. Let us rejoice in being a woman. Let us be free of deception and happy in Christ for who He made us to be.
